“We received a lot of valuable information from the recent PC and console betas,” said creative director Julian Gerighty. “We are now scrutinizing all of the player feedback so we can ensure that The Crew delivers the seamless open-world experience that meets everyone’s high expectations.”

The three previous betas have already borne fruit with additional, requested features like the ability to completely remove the UI for a seamless, cross-country driving experience. Voice chat has also been better integrated, making more seamless the game’s heavy focus on social gameplay. Along with the bigger changes have of course been the expected bevy of improvements to AI, collision physics, and general tweaking.
The Crew takes open world to new heights with a huge, seamless United States as your playground, which takes nearly 45 minutes of continuous driving to cross from coast to coast. A light-hearted plot inspired by The Fast and the Furious provides a loose, RPG framework, but the main hook is a wide-open country full of challenges and secrets to discover.
