The tuning kit manufacturer already has a package available for the A Class and CLA Class Mercedes, but now offers a few new mods if you want a more personal touch added to your compact wagon.
Exterior mods include a new front splitter system with a stability wing, new side skirts, and a carbon composite rear diffuser, working with the ground effects to muster up more downforce for the compact Merc.
Under the hood, RevoZport offers the same packages as it does for the standard CLA’s. The RZA-290 can raise the output of the 1.6-liter four-cylinder in the standard compact Benz from 211-horsepower to 285hp. The CLA 45 AMG is treated to the RZA-450 package which a new down pipe, titanium exhaust system, intakes and ECU mapping give the turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine an 83 hp boost to 443 horses.
There aren’t any performance figures stating what all these upgrades mean in the real world, but the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake can already do a 0 to 60 sprint under five seconds, so the mods should bring that much closer to four.
Those who want to find out for themselves better have a garage overseas, however: the shooting brake isn’t slated to come to the U.S., but it’s still it’s interesting to see how quickly tuning houses can adapt pre-existing kits on the fly when new models of the vehicles they specialize in are announced.
