For anyone still doubting that we’ll ever get that revival of The X-Files that’s been rumored for years, a new image offers photographic proof of the return of FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

The photo was posted by the show’s official Twitter account, and features series creator Chris Carter looking on as stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are filmed on the set of the upcoming limited series that will bring The X-Files back to television after 13 years. Duchovny and Anderson are set to reprise their roles as Mulder and Scully, respectively, the investigators of the unknown that made the series a cultural touchstone in the ’90s.

Along with Duchovny and Anderson, series veteran Mitch Pileggi has also confirmed his return as the pair’s former boss, Walter Skinner, and fellow series regular William B. Davis is also rumored to reprise his role as the enigmatic Cigarette-Smoking Man. Annabeth Gish and Robert Patrick, who co-starred in the series late in its run after Duchovny and Anderson had ceased appearing regularly in episodes, are also rumored to be returning in some capacity for the revival.

Scheduled to span six episodes, the limited series will air on FOX, the network that aired the first nine seasons between 1993 and 2002. Carter will once again serve as the head writer and showrunner on the series along with original writers Glen Morgan and James Wong.

While details regarding the revival’s plot have remained scarce, Community actor Joel McHale has confirmed he’ll play a conservative online news anchor in the series. In discussing the format for the revival series, Duchovny also suggested that the six episodes will feature a mix of standalone stories and the over-arching mythology the series was famous for establishing (and expanding) over its nine seasons.

The X-Files revival series will premiere January 24, 2016.

Juventus vs Milan live stream: Can you watch for free?
Massive open air soccer stadium with a game in play.

Juventus and Milan clash in a Top-3 Serie A showdown today at Allianz Stadium. Though the stakes are considerably lower now that Inter have officially claimed this season's Scudetto, this is still a compelling matchup between two of Italy's premier sides.

This one is starting very soon, at 12:00 p.m. ET. It will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, but we've found a handful of different ways you can watch the match live online for free.

Netflix is streaming the craziest action movie of 2024. Here’s why I loved it
A man floating in air kicks another man in the face in City Hunter.

This month seems to be the time to release action movies that color outside the lines. We've already had Dev Patel's Monkey Man, a messy, throw-everything-at-the-wall action movie that blends intricate fight sequences and on-the-nose social commentary in an entertaining package that will surely gain cult status in the near future. Just this weekend, Boy Kills World dished out loads of cartoon violence and over-the-top gore in a bid for John Wick-level fandom. Both movies bend or break the rules of reality to deliver quickly cut fight scenes that push the boundaries of the genre, all in an attempt to one-up the high standards set by the best movies in the Mission: Impossible and Fast and Furious franchises.

Yet the best of the April bunch is the one that has the lowest profile. City Hunter doesn't star anyone you'd recognize like It actor Bill Skarsgård in Boy Kills World and hasn't been backed by an extensive marketing campaign like Universal's Monkey Man. But the movie is a blast; it's like putting Pop Rocks in a can of Mountain Dew and chasing it down with a couple of Pixy Sticks. It's ludicrous, immature, and totally unrealistic. It's also my favorite action movie of 2024. Here's why you need to stream City Hunter pronto.
