Schwarzenegger poses as a wax-statue Terminator to freak out fans for charity

Arnold Pranks Fans as the Terminator...for Charity
Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator prank
The release of the latest Terminator movie is almost upon us, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is using the buzz around his upcoming film to promote a worthy cause. In a new video on his YouTube channel, the former governor of California encourages fans to sign up for a chance to “Roll Up With Arnold to the Premiere of Terminator Genisys” in support of the charity, After-School All-Stars. And to get the word out, the action star decided to have a little fun with his fans — Terminator style.

Dressed as the iconic android (complete with wounds), Schwarzenegger infiltrates the famed Hollywood landmark, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Attraction, and proceeds to freak out a number of visitors by hiding in plain sight among the wax figurines, only to move and speak to them when they’re least expecting it. After the initial screams, they get over the shock and are thrilled to see him. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised if they have a few nightmares about it — those statues are creepy enough as it is, without having them animate into living beings before you.

On Hollywood Boulevard, the Governator stops by his own star on the Walk of Fame and wonders out loud, “Who is this Arnold Schwarzenegger?” Even more amusing is when he faces off with a Terminator impersonator and tries to keep people from bumping into his selfie stick. All in all, it’s hilarious and he makes a good case for how entertaining it would be to go to the premiere and take him up on his proposal to “say one-liners like ‘hasta la vista, baby‘” with him.

We’ll see a lot more of Schwarzenegger as the Terminator soon. The fifth installment of the sci-fi action series, Terminator Genisys, will hit theaters on July 1, 2015.

The cast of That Thing You Do!

The first weekend in May has arrived, and Hulu fans should be happy to hear that there's a new lineup of movies to enjoy. Like most of the major streamers, Hulu debuts the majority of its library additions on the first of the month. But there will more movies released on Hulu throughout May.

Since the first weekend of May is traditionally timed around the opening of a superhero movie, our first choice this weekend is a comic book film that's celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Our other two picks include Tom Hanks' directorial debut, and a generation-spanning drama that holds up three decades after its release.
The Mask (1994)
