God Eater 2, Gundam Vs. coming to North America from Bandai Namco

Publisher Bandai Namco announced its next slate of console releases arriving stateside in 2016, revealing upcoming localizations for Tales of Berseria, God Eater 2 and more.

Bandai Namco’s 2016 schedule also includes license-based highlights like Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven, among other major titles slated for release in North America throughout next year.

A recently concluded countdown at a promotional website for a “mysterious game” revealed itself as a teaser for the upcoming worldwide launch of God Eater 2: Rage Burst and God Eater: Resurrection. The dual release will mark a second attempt at marketing the series stateside, following up on the domestic 2011 launch of the retitled Gods Eater Burst for the PlayStation Portable.

Featuring team-based, action-RPG gameplay in the vein of Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, the God Eater series saw multiple releases in its native Japan, but its sequels and expansions never made it overseas. Bandai Namco plans to relaunch the series in North America in 2016 with God Eater: Resurrection, a remake of Gods Eater Burst for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC platforms.

Series sequel God Eater 2: Rage Burst will also hit the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC platforms worldwide via Steam in 2016.

Also on tap from Bandai Namco in 2016 is Tales of Berseria, a sequel in the publisher’s long-running console-styled RPG franchise. Multiple series entries premiered stateside in recent years, including Tales of Hearts R, Tales of Xillia 2, and October’s Tales of Zestiria for the PlayStation 3. Tales of Berseria will arrive in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PCs via Steam in 2016.

Several Bandai Namco games based on popular manga and anime licenses will also hit retail in North America in 2016, including Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (PS4, Xbox One, PC), Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force (PS Vita only), One Piece: Burning Blood (PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, PC), and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven (exclusively for the PlayStation 4). Release dates for all of today’s announced games have not yet been revealed.

Is Manor Lords multiplayer or co-op?
A medieval market in Manor Lords.

You can easily lose hours designing your village and appeasing your citizens in Manor Lords all by yourself. There are so many different avenues to achieve victory, but the only competition or help you can normally find is in the form of NPCs. Other factions around the map can be helpful or harmful depending on how you play, but what if you wanted to team up with a friend to combine resources, or perhaps compete to see who can crush the other first? Many strategy and city builders thrive on multiplayer components, but does Manor Lords offer those same modes? Make sure you know the answer before making your purchase if that's your intention.
Is there multiplayer or co-op in Manor Lords?
To cut to the chase, the answer is no. Manor Lords is a purely single-player experience through and through. There are no cooperative or competitive modes in the game at all, so there's no way to interact with anyone else either on PC or console. This game was just released out of early access, and there is plenty of content on the way, however, we regret to inform you that multiplayer is not in the plans for the time being.

One developer took to the Steam forums to release an FAQ on the game. One question specifically asked if there is any multiplayer or cooperative gameplay in the game. The response said that "he focus is on a refined single-player experience, with no multiplayer or cooperative modes planned at the moment."
