Griffin Technology today debuted a new tough, two-piece shell for the iPod 5G. This newest iClear case is priced at $19.99 and should be available now.
The iClear case for the iPod 5G, said Griffin, is a two piece, clear shell enclosure which is made of a polycarbonate material which reportedly helps protect the digital audio player from abuse during one’s daily grind. Installation of the iClear works by putting the iPod 5G into the front casing half and then snapping the rear section into place.
The iClear case fits snugly with the iPod 5G, providing access to all controls while still protecting the player. It’s transparent design supports both the 30GB and 60GB video iPod models.
