HP cuts $380 off the price of the powerful Spectre x360 15 for Cyber Monday

This Cyber Monday, you’ll find all kinds of deals on laptops, tablets. You can also opt for super cheap Chromebooks, premium MacBooks, and more. But, if you’re after a truly powerful and stylish laptop that’ll last the test of time, then you might want to pick up the HP Spectre x360 15. HP is now discounting the top-range model by $380 as part of its Cyber Monday sale.

For the sale price of $1,250, there’s quite a lot to enjoy with the HP Spectre x360 15. Inside the laptop is a powerful six-core Intel Core i7-9750H processor, as well as a total of 16GB RAM and a 256GB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. This six-core processor is quite rare to find in a 2-in-1 of this size, and it really is powerful. When we reviewed it, we found that the processor provided one of the best performance we’ve ever found in a 2-in-1, and didn’t limit us to just standard productivity tasks.

But there’s more to the HP Spectre x360 15 than just its performance. The 2-in-1 also has an elegant 4K display which we found was great for content consumption. The display, keyboard deck, and chassis even have a beautiful gem-cut design, which sports an elegant and gorgeous aesthetic. This makes the 2-in-1 quite different from the boring, boxy designs you’ll find on the XPS 15, or Surface Book 2.

Elsewhere, the HP Spectre x360 15 has the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU inside. This makes it quite a good device for gaming or even photo and video editing. In our tests, we found that the Spectre x360 15 packs some real power thanks to this GPU. It was faster than your average 2-in-1 and was capable of playing games like Rocket League, Civilization VI, and even Battlefield 1. That put it on the same page as other laptops like the Surface Book 2.

It’s also important to note that HP includes a pen with the purchase of the Spectre x360 15. Other manufacturers often charge extra, but with HP, you’ll get it right in the box to help you get the most out of marking up documents and drawing on the screen.

Over the past couple of years, I've reviewed exactly 125 laptops for Digital Trends, and out of all those computers, the HP Spectre x360 14 isn't just one of my favorites -- it's my favorite laptop, period.
