Guide your tribe through a harsh world in the prehistoric survival game Before

Plenty of world premieres graced the stage of the 2014 Game Awards, but Before managed to stand out. From Facepunch Studios, the developer founded by Garry’s Mod creator Garry Newman, Before is a game of prehistoric survival conceived in the mind of Bill Lowe.

The trailer reveals a heavily stylized world, like a mix between the cel-shaded vibe of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and the blocky charm of Minecraft. Much like Facepunch’s RustBefore appears to be about finding ways to survive in an open world filled with both resources and danger. This early look at the game highlights an array of environments and wildlife, and also seems to emphasize the game’s focus on survival at the tribe level.

There’s no release date set for Before, but it’ll be coming to Linux, Mac, and Windows whenever it does arrive. You can find more details on the game’s official website.

Resident Evil 7 Madhouse guide: Try to survive the game’s hardest mode
resident evil 7 madhouse difficulty guide tips changes biohazard 20170204073910

Beating Resident Evil 7 on any difficulty is a big enough challenge for many players, especially those who find the prospect of being hounded by an unkillable murderer for several hours unappealing to begin with. But for players who conquer RE7 on normal and find themselves wanting more, the developers were generous(?) enough to include a third difficulty, aptly titled “Madhouse” mode.

Resident Evil 7’s Madhouse difficulty doesn't just add more and tougher enemies, though it has those, too. In many ways, it changes the very fabric of the game, altering item locations and enemy behavior to throw off whatever knowledge you may have built up playing through the game's easier difficulties. Even a hardened, impervious veteran of normal mode might need some help getting through it.

Toward the end of your romp through World of Warcraft's new Maldraxxus zone, a region of the Shadowlands caught in its own civil war, you’ll make your move on the desecrated land of Plaguefall. The former House of Plagues is home to the now utterly nuts Margrave Stradama, who needs putting down.

It’s a dungeon filled to the brim with poison clouds and goop-covered floors, making movement a big part of the trick to surviving its tunnels. It's a tough one to heal, but everyone playing their part can make it far easier than it sometimes looks. Here’s the complete guide of Plaguefall boss strats.
How to unlock
Much like the first dungeon of the expansion -- The Necrotic Wake -- Plaguefall is unlocked simply by hitting a certain level. In this case, 54. On top of that, you'll need to have an average item level of 100 to enter, after which you'll be free to queue as and when you please.
