The main goal of Infinity Nikki is to expand your closet and unlock as much clothing, accessories, and hairstyles as you possibly can. The more clothing you own, the more outfits you can create, but becoming stylish isn’t easy.

There are numerous ways you can get your hands on accessories and articles of clothing in this open-world gacha game. If you’re itching to find the best and easiest ways to unlock new clothing, hair, makeup, and everything else to fill your closet in Infinity Nikki, we’ll explain everything below.

How to get new clothes, accessories, and hair in Infinity Nikki

While players can easily jump into the in-game shop and spend real-life money on microtransaction cosmetics, free-to-play players can enjoy Infinity Nikki just as much without spending a dime. We’ll go into detail on all the best ways you can expand your closet without ever having to spend real money. Although, if you do like the shop’s cosmetics, there’s nothing wrong with purchasing them.

Purchase from town shops

Throughout the many towns you may come across in Infinity Nikki, there will be different shops selling all types of clothes and accessories to fill your closet. While there are a few vendors standing outside with only a few items in stock, there are dedicated clothing stores like Marques Boutique that have a lot more inventory.

You can find these shops by looking for the shirt icon on your map. This indicates that a certain building is a clothing store. Make sure to thoroughly explore any town you come across, as you may find vendors with unique items to sell that you wouldn’t normally just find on your map.

Craft sketches

Instead of purchasing the items themselves, you can craft them from sketches. Sketches are often available to unlock through quest rewards and chests. Aside from your main ability outfits, you can collect sketches for full outfits or single articles of clothing, accessories, hair, etc.

To craft clothing, you’ll need specific materials that you can collect around the open world. If you’re unsure of where a type of material is, you can track it through the collections tab on the map. You’ll also need ability outfits to collect certain materials, such as catching bugs, brushing animals’ fur, or fishing.

Win style challenges

At a certain point in the main story, you’ll unlock the ability to compete in style challenges. You can find stylists in the open world requesting for you to compete in a style challenge, or you can find a challenge in the Factions menu.

As a reward for getting a specific score in a style challenge, you can earn an article of clothing. There are more rewards than that, but keep an eye out for style challenges to unlock exclusive items for your wardrobe.

Surprise-O-Matic

Similar to the actual gacha aspects of Infinity Nikki, you can spend Bling on this Surprise-O-Matic gachapon machine for one random wardrobe piece. In Florawish, you can find this Surprise-O-Matic machine and get your first draw for free. After that, you have to pay for it, but the instant surprise reward is worth it.

It can become expensive, but if you have enough Bling, you can do 10 draws at once. The machine contains all types of closet items with different rarities, so if you’ve run out of Resonance Crystals to use on the actual gacha banners in Infinity Nikki, you can use Bling here for the same effect.

Complete quests

Simply put, there are some quests in Infinity Nikki that upon completion reward you with clothes, hair, accessories, and more. Take this Kindled Inspiration: Yesteryear’s She quest in Florawish. Completing this quest will reward you with 20 Diamonds and one hairstyle.

Not every quest will grant you wardrobe pieces as rewards, so if you want to focus on finishing quests with those types of rewards, check your Quests menu for more information. You can pick up random quests throughout the open world, so simply explore and you’ll find some.

Resonate

Papergames

No gacha game would be complete without its main gacha ability. Instead of unlocking weapons or characters like in most gacha games, in Infinity Nikki you can unlock new outfits and hairstyles by Resonating.

In the Resonance menu, you can spend earned Diamonds on Resonance Crystals. One Resonance Crystal allows you to Resonate once for one reward, but every 10 Resonances guarantees a 4-star or higher piece, so it’s better to do 10 at once. You can even focus on one of the outfits through Tidal Guidance for better luck on receiving pieces from a featured outfit.

AI is making it easier than ever for a single person to build a game. That sounds like a win for creativity, and in many ways, it absolutely is. But there is a catch. As generative AI tools help solo developers and small studios do more with fewer people, the same shift is making life tougher for writers, artists, concept creators, and junior programmers trying to break into the gaming industry.
