Disney, AOL Partner for Narnia Content

Walt Disney and AOL have teamed to bring viewers of the highly anticipated The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and TheWardrobe some exclusive content to wet the appetite as the film’s December 9 release approaches. This content is set to be promoted throughout AOL’s properties, including a special sub-site onMovieFone.com.   The companies said in a statement that the online destination known as the ‘The World of Narnia’ launches the world-exclusive debutof a new theatrical trailer today. Currently, ‘The World of Narnia’ also offers a video vault of all Narnia video-to-date, photo galleries, and an interactive map. In the coming weeks, fans will alsofind the exclusive premiere of more behind-the-scenes video features, extended footage from the movie, a production gallery, interactive character guides and more.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with AOL on ‘The World of Narnia’ and believe that this is a great way to provide entertaining and unique content for moviegoers,” said Oren Aviv, president of Buena Vista Pictures Marketing. “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, is shaping up to be an extraordinary motion picture. This online destination will provide great content and frequent updates about the film. Andrew Adamson, who did such a great job directing the Shrek films, has created a brilliant and faithful big screen adaptation of the C. S. Lewis book, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.”
