Samsung Galaxy A33 5G images leak shows yet another midrange phone is on the way

In recent years, Samsung has introduced many new Galaxy A-series models, to the point where they have formed a robust budget and midrange lineup. In fact, many of those models have been favorably reviewed by Digital Trends. Now, renders have leaked of a new upcoming model, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.

OnLeaks, a reliable and well-known phone tipster, has revealed several details of the phone’s specifications. The phone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch screen with a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. While the details of the camera sensors haven’t yet been revealed, the smartphone should have a quad-camera setup with a hole-punch or notch to accommodate the selfie camera. The phone should arrive in four colors: White, black, orange, and light blue.

For reference, last year’s Samsung Galaxy A32 5G had a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, with a 5,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. We’re expecting to see improvements in all of these specs, but we don’t have specific details yet.

Wwe do know the phone will support USB-C, but fans of the A-series will be disappointed to note that the phone does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This is a feature that Samsung has ditched in the past for some of its flagship models, but this is the first time we’re starting to see it absent on midrange and budget phones. It’s also worth noting that this will be a 5G-only phone, meaning there will be no 4G model for other markets like India that don’t yet have a 5G network.

Keeping in line with the release of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G and 4G models in January and February of 2021, the A33 should launch in January 2022, perhaps alongside the heavily leaked S21 FE.

This is the best Samsung Galaxy S24 leak yet

It's almost the start of a new year. How can you tell? Because Samsung smartphone leaks are everywhere. Just one day after a huge Galaxy S24 price leak, we now have new renders of all three S24 phones. And these aren't just any renders — they're the best ones we've seen yet.

Samsung Galaxy S24 renders have been appearing online for months now, but they often come with a caveat: They're based on CAD designs, are low-resolution files, or have unsightly watermarks plastered all over them. That's not the case with these newest S24 renders.

This new MediaTek chip is about to bring 5G to a lot more devices

One of the biggest promises of 5G technology isn’t merely faster performance but rather the ability to power a far more connected world — a global network where every device can get online from just about anywhere.

That’s the vision behind MediaTek’s new M60 5G modem and T300 chip, which aim to be small and efficient enough to bring 5G to wearables, internet-of-things (IoT) devices, and other electronics that benefit from reliable internet connectivity but don’t require the massive speed and bandwidth of modern laptops and smartphones.

Have an Android phone? You can get unlimited 5G service for free

One of the great things about eSIM technology is how easy it is to get a new line up and running on a compatible smartphone. Gone are the days when you needed to find a carrier store or wait for a new physical SIM card to arrive in the mail. Now, you can go through the entire process from the comfort of your own home and be up and running with a new phone plan in under five minutes.

This is especially great when dealing with prepaid carriers, and one such company that’s been leaning heavily into eSIM technology is Visible. It’s embraced eSIM not just to make it easy for folks to sign up, but also to let prospective customers take the service for a spin before committing to it.
