Brink keeps it classy in this new trailer

Despite the fact that the first-person shooter field is a wee bit crowded these days, the genre continues to churn out more and more big hits, and the key to success is finding new ways to look at an old idea. Whether it is a new take on multiplayer, a teammate system or something we haven’t seen before, innovation in the genre can carry a lot of weight.

Among the many, many, many upcoming FPS titles, few have as original a look and feel as Bethesda and developer Splash Damage’s Brink. The game is set in a dystopian future, where the world has been covered by water and a handful of survivors fight over the last resources available in the only city remaining, the Ark. Teamwork is an important feature in Brink, and the game will also have a healthy multiplayer offering.

In the trailer below titled “A Matter of Class”, of all the tricks shown below the most interesting might be the “disguise” ability. Can you imagine the havoc you could create online by walking into the opposing camp dressed as one of your opponents and just opening fire? If friendly fire is not turned off, expect a lot of friendly kills any time someone is acting “suspicious”.

Horror games have an interesting lineage. Most gamers' first real exposure to what we consider the template for "modern" horror was the original Resident Evil or, perhaps, Silent Hill. Starfield: release date, trailers, gameplay, and more

Bethesda is a studio that has found great success with its massive single-player RPG games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. While the company's recent fumbles with games like Fallout 76 (and to a lesser extent, Fallout 4) have disappointed gamers, the studio is pushing forward and has some ambitious projects on the horizon. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2’s new trailer is frighteningly immersive

During the Xbox Games Showcase today, we got a new look at Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and learned that it will come out next year.

After a brief introduction from Senua actor Melina Juergens, we jumped into nearly four minutes of gameplay. We see Senua explore a misty, mysterious cave that seems to be shifting all around her. Senua continues to struggle with the voices in her head, which eventually lead her to look at her reflection in the water and proclaim that everything she's done has led her to this place. She then gets pulled into the water at the end of the trailer.
