Each is also configured with a minimum of 512MB RAM as well as a PCI Express x16 slot. Additional features on the E-2600 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 533MHz or 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM and a range of SATA hard drive sizes, while the E-1500 offers up a range of ATA hard drive sizes, 10/100 Ethernet LAN connectivity and 533MHz DDR2 memory.

“With today’s introduction of the Gateway E-1500 and E-2600, professional IT managers don’t have to compromise when it comes to outfitting employees with powerful new PCs,” said William Diehl, vice president of product marketing, Gateway, in a statement. “The combination of Intel processors with ATI’s chipset enables us to offer systems with feature sets unheard of at these price points, while still meeting professional customers’ demands for manageability and stability.”
