Devoted fans may recall that during last week’s PlayStation E3 Presentation, Sony VP Adam Boyes mentioned that Bungie’s upcoming shooter Destiny will come with a raft of exclusive content for gamers on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Now that the trade show hubbub has died down a bit, the PlayStation Blog has finally shared some particulars of what that content will actually look like.

For the gear-heads among you (which–let’s be real–is all of you), Sony-loyal guardians will be treated to an exclusive set of armor for each class: the Manifold Seeker for Warlocks, Vanir for Titans, and Argus for Hunters. Two special weapons will also be available: the Monte Carlo, an assault rifle designed for nasty, close-range combat, and the intricately-etched Hawkmoon hand cannon for extra style points. Lastly three new ships will be available for piloting: the Aurora Wake, Crypt Hammer, and Outrageous Fortune, geared towards Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, respectively.

You will be able to test the new swag out in an exclusive co-op Strike in the dilapidated Dust Palace skyscraper, among the dunes of Mars, wherein you and two companions track a Cabal extraction team and square off against sinister Psion Flayers. The Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map is a mid-sized Crucible arena perfect for Control and Skirmish matches set on the long-defunct ship Exodus Blue.

Destiny is set for release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 9, 2014.

A person plays Crash Bandicoot using a PS5 DualSense controller.

PlayStation Plus has undergone several iterations and changes since its introduction. Originally, the service wasn't required for online play at all and rewarded subscribers with extra discounts and free monthly games. Once the PlayStation 4 generation began, it was required for online play but still offered those same benefits.

Now, PS Plus is divided into three different tiers of subscriptions. The basic tier, PS Plus Essential, still gets three games per month added, while the Extra and Premium tiers will have a varying number of games added to their catalogs. With hundreds of games already and more coming and going all the time, even the most dedicated gamer won't be able to play everything on offer. To help you get the most bang for your buck and so that no hidden gems fly under your radar, here are all the best games to play on PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium right now.
Best PS Plus Essential games
As is usually the case, everyone with the lowest tier of PS Plus gets three games this month, two with PlayStation 5 versions and one with a PS4 version. Here's what you can play this month:
