Motorola’s latest flagship handset, the updated Moto X, is available for pre-order from September 16. The phone was unveiled earlier this month, replacing the original version that launched a year ago.

The mobile maker announced the pre-order date on the official Motorola blog over the weekend. The Moto X for AT&T is set to cost $99 on a two-year contract, while the off-contract Moto X Pure Edition will land with a $500 price tag.

The company promised more updates soon regarding availability for other carriers in the US and around the world.

If, however, the Moto 360 is of more interest than Motorola’s new handset, then you’ll be pleased to know the much-praised smartwatch will be back in stock Tuesday after selling out in just a few minutes earlier this month. Expecting another deluge of orders, Motorola recommends you hit its online store as soon as you can tomorrow as quantities of the Moto 360 are said to be limited.

The Moto Hint wireless earbud will also be available for pre-order on Tuesday, at a price of $150, and finally, the Motorola Turbo Charger, which enables users to charge the latest Moto phones in just 15 minutes, can be ordered for $35.

According to the post, shipping dates will be dependent upon the product ordered, with detailed information offered at checkout.

DT reviewers were more than impressed with the original Moto X, but love the new version even more. The updated handset comes with a larger, improved display (5.2 inches), a high-end processor in the shape of Qualcomm’s 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 chip, and is the most customizable handset on the market today.
