Watch Matt Damon recap his entire movie career with James Corden

Matt Damon Acts Out His Film Career w/ James Corden
Matt Damon is currently making the rounds promoting his upcoming film The Martian, and the Oscar-nominated actor (and Oscar-winning writer) hasn’t shied away from engaging in some unique spins on the usual talk-show circuit.

After attending couples therapy with Jimmy Kimmel in a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Damon appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in an eight-minute skit that encapsulated over two decades of films featuring the actor.

In the skit, Damon and Corden re-enact everything from Oscar-friendly projects like Invictus (which earned Damon a “Best Supporting Actor” nomination) and Good Will Hunting (which earned the “Best Writing” Oscar for Damon and Ben Affleck as well as a “Best Actor” nomination for Damon) to less-memorable projects like the 2011 sci-fi film The Adjustment Bureau and that same year’s animated feature Happy Feet 2 (in which he voiced the character Bill the Krill).

The skit also pokes fun at some of his well-known franchise roles, including the trilogy of ensemble heist movies that began with Ocean’s Eleven and the series of Jason Bourne films that cast him as a black ops agent with a mysterious past.

Sadly, anyone hoping for a re-enactment of his musical cameo in EuroTrip will be disappointed. (The same goes for any Dogma or The Brothers Grimm fans out there.)

Damon’s first credited role was a “Steamer” in the 1988 film Mystic Pizza, and his resume now includes more than 72 roles in films spanning more than 25 years.

Damon’s next film, The Martian, arrives in theaters this weekend and has the actor playing an astronaut who’s stranded on Mars after an accident forces his crew to leave him behind, believing that he’s dead. The film is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ridley Scott (GladiatorAlien) and is based on a novel of the same name by Andy Weir.

Logo for WWE Backlash France.

A WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) is heading to Lyon Metropolis for the first time for WWE Backlash France 2024. Since the formation of TKO in September 2023, WWE has prioritized global expansion. In 2024, Backlash France is the second PLE to be held outside the U.S., and it won't be the last. Five of the next six WWE PLEs will take place outside the U.S.

Heading into Backlash, WWE is entering the "American Nightmare Era." After finishing his story at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes is now the Undisputed WWE Champion. A different era means a new crop of challengers for Rhodes. First up is AJ Styles, a former two-time WWE champion. Rhodes must bring his A-game if he wants to walk out of France as champion.

If you have to watch one Star Wars movie this May the 4th, stream this one
Luke looking off into the binary sunset before dying in The Last Jedi.

Every Star Wars fan has a favorite movie, and many Star Wars fans also hate at least one of the entries in one of their favorite franchises. That can make the exercise of choosing the perfect Star Wars movie to watch on May the 4th difficult. For all of the love this fan base has shown to the franchise over the years, it's also a fan base that has strong opinions about why one movie or another is worthy of your time.

This May 4, though, I'd recommend watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Almost undoubtedly the most controversial entry in the saga, one that makes some people furious and others jump for joy, The Last Jedi is worthy of your attention, whether you like what it's doing or not. Here are three reasons you should check it out:
Luke gets to live the Jedi legend
