Back in October 2015 it was announced that Mad Max: Fury Road composer Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, would provide the score for the upcoming Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds as Marvel’s irreverent mutant mercenary. Now, the first excerpt from Junkie XL’s score for the film is available online, and it offers a nice preview of the audio element accompanying the character’s much-anticipated solo adventure.

Titled “Maximum Effort,” the two-minute movie score excerpt is a fast-paced track that features a brief clip from a song that will likely seem a little familiar: Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.”

Along with this excerpt of Junkie XL’s score, which was released on SoundCloud, the full track listing for the Deadpool soundtrack was revealed this week on Indie Wire. To the surprise of no one, the soundtrack includes the DMX track “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” (which has been used in every trailer for the movie so far), as well as a lineup of additional tracks that covers a surprisingly wide range of genres.

Here’s the full track listing for the Deadpool soundtrack:

1. Angel of the Morning – Juice Newton
2. Maximum Effort
3. Small Disruption
4. Shoop – Salt-N-Pepa
5. Twelve Bullets
6. Man In A Red Suit
7. Liam Neeson Nightmares
8. Calendar Girl – Neil Sedaka
9. The Punch Bowl
10. Back To Life
11. Every Time I See Her
12. Deadpool Rap – Teamheadkick
13. Easy Angel
14. Scrap Yard
15. This Place Looks Sanitary
16. Watership Down
17. X Gon’ Give It To Ya – DMX
18. Going Commando
19. Let’s Try To Kill Each Other
20. Stupider When You Say It
21. Four Or Five Moments
22. A Face I Would Sit On
23. Careless Whisper – WHAM!

Yes, you read that correctly. “Careless Whisper” will be the closing song on the soundtrack. That’s so Deadpool.

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool follows a former Special Forces operative who gains superhuman healing powers after he’s subjected to a secret experiment that almost kills him. While tracking down the mysterious organization that nearly destroyed his life, he encounters a long list of super-powered allies and enemies — including a few members of the X-Men.

Along with Reynolds in the lead role, Deadpool also features T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus.

Deadpool and its soundtrack will both be released February 12.
