Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Collector’s Edition detailed

Publisher Square Enix details Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s backing narrative in a new trailer that focuses on cybernetic protagonist Adam Jensen’s role in an Interpol-led counter-terrorist force.

Square Enix also unveiled a bonus-bundled Collector’s Edition for Mankind Divided that includes an exclusive figurine, art book, and in-game extras.

A direct sequel to 2011’s multiplatform FPS Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mankind Divided is a first-person shooter that features elements of stealth and strategy. Depending on the upgrades and abilities players choose throughout Mankind Divided‘s campaign, starring character Adam Jensen can take on the game’s challenges using either covert tactics or all-out firepower.

Taking place shortly after the events of Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided features a storyline in which cybernetically augmented individuals are outcasts from human society. Formerly a security specialist, Jensen now works with a counter-terroism unit in order to discover the truth behind an Illuminati plot.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released in both Day One and Collector’s Editions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Day One Edition copies of Mankind Divided include a copy of the game, an additional in-game mission, and a Covert Agent Pack offering a variety of in-game items, including weapons, re-skins, and upgrades. All copies of Mankind Divided additionally ship with a digital soundtrack sampler, mini art book, novella, and comic book.

Series devotees who buy Mankind Divided‘s $140 Collector’s Edition will also get a 9″ Adam Jensen figurine, a 48-page physical art book, and an exclusive Steelbook case.

The Digital Standard Edition of Mankind Divided will include all digital content bundled with the game’s Day One Edition. Digital buyers can also opt for a $90 Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes access to all future Season Pass content.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided premieres on August 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs via Steam.

While there aren't any public details yet on what will be offered during this collaboration, we can expect some Fallout-themed weapons and some skins. Maybe a vault dweller suit or some power armor? Since Epic put a thumbs-up emoji in the caption, it's safe to assume that Vault Boy will be involved.

Deadlock is a new hero shooter developed by Valve, according to leaks

Valve might be more known for its Steam Deck handheld and its video game retail platform Steam these days, but according to leaks, the company is working on its next game —  a third-person, hero-based shooter known as Deadlock.

Screenshots of the game and basic details were posted on X (formerly Twitter) by noted Valve game data miner Gabe Follower and on YouTube by Tyler McVicker, who also has a proven track record of leaking Valve info. Both posted about Deadlock first on Thursday, saying it would feature teams of six battling each other on a map with four lanes. It would also feature art that looks inspired by DOTA, the company's multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) series, with steampunk mixed in for good measure.
