Digital Foci Adds New Memory Card Reader

Digital Foci, a maker of products for digital imaging, today debuted a new memory card reader/writer which supports nearly all current memory card formats and comes in three distinct colors. The new Memory Card Gateway is priced $29.95 and should be available now.

The Memory Card Gateway, said Digital Foci, has USB 2.0 connectivity for high speed file transfers and works with CompactFlash Type I/II, MicroDrive, SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card, SD Card, miniSD, Memory Stick,MS PRO, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo, and MagicGate MS memory cards. Features include self-power via the USB connection, individual LED indicators for each of the four memory card slots and three body colors

AMD's new RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT graphics cards went on sale Tuesday morning, but they sold out in a flash. Some retailers only had cards in stock for a few minutes, and although there are a few stragglers, it's clear AMD's latest graphics cards are popular.

If you were hoping to score the RX 7900 XTX, you're out of luck. It's sold out at every retailer I checked, including AMD's own website. I queued on AMD's website for an hour to buy a card, but only the weaker RX 7900 XT was still in stock. It sold out during the course of writing this article. As you can read in our RX 7900 XTX versus RX 7900 XT comparison, the XTX model is a clear favorite.

Mountain just released two intriguing accessories that could take your streaming content creation and gaming to the next level. The DisplayPad is a customizable keyboard with 12 display keys. the MacroPad is an RGB mechanical keyboard with 12 keys. Each comes with an angled base that tilts the keys for easy access when placed at the top of your keyboard. These new keypad accessories expand the number of dedicated function keys available to streamline your workflow.

Each key on Mountain's DisplayPad can be customized to show any icon, symbol, or graphic you'd like to help identify the function or macro. This isn't just a touchscreen, like Apple's Touch Bar. The keys are raised so they click and travel when pressed. You can even add a folder to a key so when you tap it, the display keys change to show up to 11 new functions, along with a back button.
