Logitech Rolls Out New Gaming Peripherals

Logitech on Tuesday added two new computer peripheral products to its growing line of G-series devices for gamers. The Logitech G3 Laser Mouse is priced at $59.99 and will be available in August, while the G11 Keyboard will hit store shelves in July for $69.99.

The Logitech G3 Laser Mouse, said the company, delivers 2000 dpi laser tracking (with software installed), processes 6.4 megapixels of images per second and uses full-speed USB to reportedly deliver 500 reports per second, which is critical in game play to ensure more precision with no lag. The mouse also has a “DryGrip” surface to help maintain a secure grip during long gaming sessions. The G11 Keyboard has features such as 18 programmable keys and three shift modes for a total of 54 custom commands per game, a gaming mode switch which disables the Windows key so it can’t be accidentally bumped, LED backlighting for translucent characters on the keys and two integrated USB ports.

“Just as athletes carefully choose their gear for competition, PC gamers seek tools with the right features and the right fit as they prepare for battle,” said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech’s director of product marketing for interactive entertainment, in a statement. “With these new G-series peripherals, we are providing gamers with a wider range of peripherals that offer a competitive edge.”

This Dell gaming laptop is $450 off in Dell’s ‘New Year Event’ sale
The Dell G16 gaming laptop.

If you're somewhat familiar with the game laptop market, then you'll know that the G16 and its previous iteration, the G15, are often recommended for being great budget and mid-range gaming laptops. Luckily, Dell has discounted its G16 even more, down to just $950 from $1,399, meaning you can grab a solid gaming laptop without crossing the $1,000 threshold. It might have an older-generation GPU, but it's great if you want to get a big-screen gaming laptop without spending a huge amount of cash.

Why you should buy the Dell G16 gaming laptop
The beating heart of any gaming laptop is its GPU, and in this case, the G16 comes with an RTX 3060, an entry-level graphics card that should handle most modern games just fine. Granted, you will probably struggle to hit both the 2560x1600 resolution and the 165Hz refresh rate, but at least you have some options on what you wish to prioritize. Plus, the 16-inch screen means you get the far superior 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives you a wider field of view when playing games, which is always appreciated.

LG isn't waiting for January to launch its next generation of OLED gaming monitors. The company revealed three new displays joining its lineup, as well as updates to the OLED gaming monitors it already offers. One of them, in particular, stands out due to a dual refresh rate feature that can reach up to 480Hz.

The UltraGear 32GS95UE is the star of the show. It's a 4K OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, but LG says you can switch to a 1080p resolution with a 480Hz refresh rate with a single click. You can map the function either to a hotkey or a directional switch on the joystick, allowing you to quickly swap between high-resolution cinematic gaming or competitive settings.
