Dell has great prices on Arcade1Up cabinets today — up to $250 off

By now, Arcade1Up needs no introduction. They offer a wide variety of retro arcade cabinets that you can easily install in your home. They’re fantastic. Want to know how I know? I own several, including the multi-player TMNT cabinet and the legacy Mortal Kombat cabinet. But enough about me and my collection. What I really brought you here for was to share that Dell, yes Dell of all places, has some fantastic deals on Arcade1Up cabinets. I only say that because it’s a far cry from their usual Dell XPS deals and Dell laptop deals. Back to the Arcade1Up cabinets, by comparing these deal prices to some of the other retailers, Dell has the best discounts for some of these. They make some great holiday gifts, too, if you want to stock up before the end of the season.

Imagine playing Street Fighter II locally with friends and family during the holidays. Fun, right? Now imagine being able to play and challenge anyone with the same arcade cabinet via WiFi and live online multiplayer. That’s precisely what this cabinet offers. Plus, it has 14 iconic games built-in and you can easily swap between them using the easy-to-navigate on-screen menus. It also comes with a clear deck protector and an anti-tip over strap.

Not only does this cabinet have 14 total games built-in, but it also comes with 100 bonus stickers that you can use to personalize the cabinet however you see fit. That means, no two cabinets are going to look the same. This one features built-in WiFi for leaderboards, a custom riser, a faux coin door, and a light-up marquee.

While it is scaled down from the original — this one is a 3/4 scale model — this pinball cabinet was designed with Zen Studios to ensure an authentic and nostalgic experience was possible. It features a 23.8-inch LCD display that acts as the playfield, plus haptic touch flippers with feedback, real feel tilt and nudge support, a working plunger, built-in dual speakers, and light-up back glass. In addition, there are ten total pinball games included so you can change up the game whenever you want. Dell’s current deal on the cabinet is one of the best we’ve seen in a while.

But wait, there’s more

Believe it or not, Dell actually has a few more arcade cabinets available and on sale. In case you want to check those out yourself, hit up Dell’s gaming section.

Where to find and beat a Burgeon in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Fighting a Burgeon in Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

One of the first big bosses you can fight in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are the hulking Burgeons. These creatures are as tall as skyscrapers and can be difficult to fight at the start of the game when you're more under-leveled and don't have the proper combat builds.

Oblivion Remastered looks great, but the grass isn’t greener on the other side
A hand blast a monster with an ice spell in Oblivion Remastered.

Before this week, I had only ever experienced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion through YouTube videos. I couldn’t tell you a single thing about the RPG’s plot, but I can tell you all about the absurd deaths of its NPCs at the hands of emergent gameplay systems going haywire. I could tell you about the blooper line reads that were left in the game. I could tell you about all the bugs that created some of the funniest video game content I’ve ever seen. I loved Oblivion as much as I think you can love a game you haven’t played, but probably not for the reasons Bethesda hopes for.

To me, Oblivion’s legacy is comedic chaos.

While the NYT puzzle might feel like an impossible task some days, solving a crossword is a skill and it takes practice — don't get discouraged if you can't get every single word in a puzzle.
