What is the max level in Starfield?

No matter the type or setting of an RPG, leveling up and unlocking new skills is almost always the highlight. Each game handles earning XP and leveling differently, and since Starfield is a new IP from Bethesda, it functions slightly differently from their other big franchises like Elder Scrolls. But how different is the system, or more specifically, does it gate you off at any point from leveling up beyond a certain point? If you want to know what the level cap is in Starfield, here’s what we’ve discovered in our adventures through the cosmos.

We’ve yet to hit any level cap in Starfield during all our time with the game. However, we can point to two possible caps, but more likely consider there to be no cap at this time. Should we hit a point where no more levels can be gained, we will update this article.

The first potential cap is level 100. We say this due to the fact that there is an achievement for reaching this milestone, confirming that you can at least hit this level. The second would be the minimum level you would need to unlock and fully upgrade all skills. When you add up all these numbers, you would need to hit around level 326 to max everything out. Considering you’re able to do this, provided you commit enough time, in every other major BGS game, we suspect you can do so here in Starfield. For that reason, we believe there is no true level cap, though leveling beyond 326 would have no great benefits to you.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 won’t be as taxing on your PC
A rainbow colored hot air balloon in the sky.

One of the biggest obstacles to playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is how taxing it is to run on your platform of choice, both in terms of performance and storage. For the next game in the series, Xbox and developer Asobo Studio are making it just a little easier to run.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be around 30GB smaller at installation than its predecessor: 127GB versus 157GB. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was one of the largest games around, and even prompted some people to purchase more powerful hardware for their PCs. And that installation number doesn't even include all the extra content you could buy. While 2024 will still be quite big, trimming it down will make it easier to install on your drive, which probably wasn't that big to start with if you have an original Xbox Series X/S.

Dishonored 3: everything we know so far
Key art for Dishonored

The Dishonored series has always been a critical darling, and it has cultivated a small, but passionate fan base. The original game got some DLC, a sequel in Dishonored 2, and one last entry called Death of the Outsider in 2017, but since then the franchise has remained dormant. The studio's latest game, Deathloop, shares some DNA with Dishonored, but is certainly its own beast. However, since the success of that new IP far exceeded anything Dishonored had achieved, many fans felt we'd never return to Dunwall to see the conclusion of the story. That sentiment only got more traction after Arkane Austin was shut down in 2024, but it was actually Arkane Lyon that made the Dishonoredgames, so hope isn't quite dead yet. Thanks to the recent leak of some court documents related to the Activision purchase by Xbox, which owns Dishonored publisher Bethesda, new hope has appeared for the existence of Dishonored 3.
Release window

According to the leaked documents, which we should still take with skepticism until an official public statement is made, Dishonored 3 is currently planned for a "FY24E" release. FY24E is shorthand for Fiscal Year 2024, which runs between April 2024 and March 2025. Considering how close we are to the end of that planned time frame with no announcement, we assume this timeline has been pushed back at least a year.
Platforms
Again, this is just speculation until the game is officially confirmed, but considering that Xbox owns publisher Bethesda, Dishonored 3 is almost certainly going to be an Xbox console exclusive with a PC port. However, it may only be a timed console exclusive as more Xbox games are coming to PS5. It should also be available as a day one Game Pass title, as all Xbox first-party titles are.
Trailers
As mentioned, Dishonored 3 isn't even meant to be known about publicly yet, so no marketing exists for the game. All we have is the name.
