Telltale Games’ take on Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic book series is officially set to return in 2013 with its second season, starring Clementine. The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series picks up after the terrible events of the previous five episodes, with our young hero forced to find her way through a zombie-filled world. As Telltale’s announcement notes, “Now assuming the role of an ordinary child, players will struggle to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.”

Season Two kicks off sometime before the close of 2013, launching for PC/Mac, “home consoles,” and iOS, with additional platforms to be announced later. Pre-orders are open now for PC/Mac players on Steam and in Telltale’s own online store, with a 10-percent savings knocking the price down to $22.49 for full season pass access to all five episodes, the last of which is coming sometime in 2014.

“The terrifying nature of Robert Kirkman’s world has allowed Telltale to push the boundaries of interactive drama in video games to a place that has had fans anxious to know what will happen next in this series,” Telltale co-founder and CEO Dan Connors said in a prepared statement. “Today we can finally lift the veil, albeit only a little, on how this story will continue, and we’ll soon be putting players in the shoes of a lead role that will challenge their expectations of how to survive in a world where no one can be trusted.”

Connors isn’t kidding when he says “only a little.” The brief teaser trailer below exists more to re-establish the series’ grim tone than anything else. The five screenshot we’ve shared here are similarly non-revealing. But then, do you really want anything spoiled? Now that you know The Walking Dead – Season Two is coming, wouldn’t it be best to just tune everything else out until there’s a release date?

Think on that while you ponder these early looks at what’s to come.

Grab your fedora, whip, and pistol because Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is plotting a course to consoles soon. After being announced via a small teaser in 2021, we're now finally starting to put the pieces together on the mystery that is this new title from MachineGames. While many very popular and successful games have been inspired by the Indiana Jones film franchise, including Uncharted and Tomb Raider, Indy himself has yet to star in a true action-adventure game worthy of his legacy. Will this game be the one to remind audiences who the true pioneer of set-piece action and globe-trotting puzzle-solving is? Only time will tell, but we can at least guess based on all the clues we've unearthed.
