Everything leaving Amazon Prime Video in October

What’s the most valuable part of your Amazon Prime Video subscription? For some users, it’s the ability to get packages within a few days. But movie and TV lovers know that the heart of Prime Video features a wealth of films and shows that can brighten almost anyone’s day. Prime Video is a bit behind its competitors when it comes to originals, but it’s ahead of the game with its curated content. The bad news is that some of these shows and films are on their way out the door as part of the normal churn. The good news is that you still have time to catch your favorites. Just consult our list of everything leaving Amazon Prime Video in October and what we know of for early November, and plan accordingly.

Still can’t shake that fear of missing out? Check our other monthly roundups of Everything leaving Hulu and Everything leaving Netflix and make sure you get them in before they’re gone.

Directed by Alexander Payne
Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church are a winning comedic duo in Sideways. Giamatti plays a struggling writer, Miles Raymond, who reunites with his friend, Jack Cole (Church), for a trip through wine country. Much to Miles’ consternation, Jack is more interested in romancing a woman named Stephanie (Sandra Oh) rather than focusing on the trip or his own impending wedding to another woman. Meanwhile, Jack feels a strong mutual attraction with a waitress, Maya Randall (Virginia Madsen). However, the lies of both Miles and Jack threaten to derail their new relationships.

Amazon Prime Video is a treasure trove of movies and TV shows. While some require an add-on subscription to a service like Paramount+ or AMC+, others are available as part of your Amazon Prime subscription. Keep in mind that now you need to pay a small fee on top of that to get access ad-free. But either way, the movies that come with that base subscription are available to you at any time. That is, until they’re gone.

Movies come and go on Amazon, so you’ll want to keep track of expiring titles. There are five movies leaving Amazon Prime Video in April that you’ll want to watch before they go. They’re all fabulous films that range from the 1980s up to the 2010s and feature A-list talent. Check these out before they are removed from the service before the end of the month.

For those looking for an even better value, the Disney Bundle gives audiences Disney+, Hulu's ad-supported subscription, and ESPN+. It's a convenient package considering how saturated the streaming space has become. With it, audiences will get all the Star Wars epics, Marvel superhero action, and sports coverage they could want.

3 underrated Amazon Prime Video movies you should watch this weekend (April 19-21)
Three men stand in front of table in Air.

Finding a great movie to watch can, somewhat perversely, be more difficult now than it was in an era when you had fewer choices. Now, you have access to a ton of streaming services, and each of those streaming services has plenty of great films, as well as a few terrible ones. Amazon Prime Video is one of those services filled to the brim with great movies, so much so that it can be hard to pick one.

We've selected three great, underrated movies that are now available on Prime Video, but that may not seem like obvious movies to pick. If you're looking for something great to watch, but don't want to wade through all the choices, these three movies are an excellent place to start.
