My favorite running earbuds, the Jabra Elite 8 Active, are $170 for Cyber Monday

For years, Jabra was at the top of the list for best running earbuds, and they’ve always been the ones I reach for when I go out for a run. A few years ago I was using the Jabra Elite Active 75t, and then the Elite 7 Active, but now it’s the Jabra Elite 8 Active. They have a grippy silicone rubber outer texture — Jabra calls it ShakeGrip — that keeps them comfortably in place, they’re IP68 rated so running in the rain causes no issue (you can even dunk them in water after a workout for a cleansing rinse), they’re incredibly durable, and right now for Cyber Monday they’re $170.

The Gen 2 earbuds include an updated charging case that adds the ability for it to act as a wireless transmitter. By using the included USB-C/3.5mm cable, you can plug the case in to an airplane’s entertainment system, a TV, or treadmill, and press the button on the front of the case to connect to the earbuds using the Bluetooth LE Audio standard. Jabra also improved the spatial audio performance and ANC with the Gen 2, but I’ll be honest, I don’t like using ANC while I’m out for a run. It’s more important that I’m safe and aware of my surroundings than drowning them out, but the ANC is there if you choose to use the earbuds beyond your workouts.

I’ll admit I was disappointed when Jabra’s parent company GN announced earlier in the year, almost immediately after the upgraded Elite 8 Active Gen 2 release, that they were getting out of the consumer audio category “to further increase focus and resources on more attractive parts of GN’s business.”

Don’t let that announcement give you pause about the Elite 8 Active, though. Jabra as a company will continue to be around, and it’s said that any “products will still be supported throughout their lifetime, as normal.” It does mean that the Elite 8 Active will only be around until Jabra is out of stock, and as of now, I don’t think there’s a better pair of running earbuds available.

samsung 98 inch qn90d review

We’re always on the lookout for the best TV deals, and it’s only a matter of time before the new and exciting TVs we saw at CES 2025 hit shelves. This means last year’s models will be going on sale, and some manufacturers are already marking down the top sets of 2024, including Samsung.

Right now, all three sizes of the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN900D are discounted. We’d like to spotlight the 65-inch version, which is currently on sale for $3,500 and has a $5,000 MSRP. This offer is available through Amazon, Best Buy, Samsung, and a handful of other retailers, too.

Get the original Sonos Arc soundbar while it’s $250 off
Sonos Arc Dolby Atmos Soundbar in white

A complete surround sound system is hard to beat, but the reality is that not all of us apartment dwellers and homeowners have the time, energy, and funds to put into wiring a full 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos configuration. Fortunately, soundbars like the Sonos Arc are able to deliver the kind of full-scale sound you’d expect from a bigger speaker setup, and you can say goodbye to all that pesky speaker wire, too!

For those unaware, the Sonos Arc Ultra was released just a few months ago, which means the original Sonos Arc soundbar is getting the sales treatment. Right now, when you purchase the Sonos Arc through Amazon, Best Buy, or B&H Photo-Video, you’ll only pay $650. The full MSRP on this model is $900.

The Sony Bravia XR A95L QD-OLED 4K TV is our choice as the best overall TV in our roundup of the best TVs of 2024, with a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars in our review.

Why you should buy the 65-inch Sony Bravia XR A95L QD-OLED 4K TV
It all starts with its cutting-edge QD-OLED technology, which combines the self-emissive pixels of OLED TVs with the quantum dots of QLED TVs for outstanding color accuracy and brightness, as well as excellent contrast and luminance.
