Here’s the thing about the International Consumer Electronics Show: Many things you see on the floor never make it into your home. This is especially true of concept products, but that doesn’t stop us from dreaming of the day self-driven cars will rule the road, for example. Panasonic made some interesting projections with its concept kitchen at CES 2015. From self-stirring pots to induction ranges that won’t burn your fingers, there were a lot of really cool ideas that, who knows, might show up in stores one day soon. Naturally, lots of the features are smart, but Panasonic also wanted to change the look of your kitchen. Instead of a big old fridge taking up lots of space, they stowed it under the counter. The sink isn’t silver but black. Appliances drop down to provide more counter space. It’s a sneak peek into the future.
