Gomez and Corden share a wild ride in new Carpool Karaoke

Selena Gomez Carpool Karaoke
Somehow, James Corden has turned the banality of driving to work into a viral video factory. And now, yet another installment of the ever-popular Carpool Karaoke has the internet in a tizzy.

This time, it’s Selena Gomez who joins the host of the The Late Late Show as the two take a circuitous route to the studio, which involves detours to an amusement park and McDonald’s. It also involves singing — lots and lots of singing.

First posted on Monday, the video has already logged almost 10 million views. The 12-minute long spot features a lot of interesting stuff, but the best bit of harmonizing comes as the two approach the precipice of the roller coaster that they’re riding on while belting out Come & Get It. They then down the ride’s first drop. While they both try to soldier on and continue singing, it’s not quite as graceful as, say, Mariah Carey’s Fantasy.

To be fair, Gomez and Corden’s ride looked a tad more harrowing.

With their first detour out of the way, the pair pound ginger shots — which throw Corden into a coughing fit — and then hit McDonald’s for a couple of value meals, making sure to get the cups with Gomez’s lyrics printed on the side: “I love you like a love song, baby.”

After a discussion of gender politics in the music industry and a little Taylor Swift duet, Corden tells the singer that he can’t think of a better person to help him endure the drudgery of a commute than her.

We’re sure that there are plenty of fans out there who feel the exact same way.

Carpool Karaoke is a recurring segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The show airs Monday through Friday on CBS at 12:37 AM.

Four characters from The Suicide Squad exploring in the movie of the same name.

Tubi is what is known as a free ad-supported streaming service (FAST). This means watching movies from the service is entirely free. There are thousands from which to choose, but you'll see ads periodically as you watch. Considering the expansive selection and the ease at which you can call up titles, it's totally worth it. But the caveat is that the selection of movies is constantly changing, so what's available one month might not be there the next.

To help you find the best options whenever you're ready to watch, we consistently update this list of the best movies on Tubi right now. From horror to drama, comedy to thrillers, most of the movies are older classics. But you'll also find some newer titles that were released in the last few years. So, curl up on the couch, get a warm blanket, and choose from these options before they're gone.

SiriusXM’s Taylor Swift channel is free if your car has satellite radio
Taylor Swift on SiriusXM in a Hyundai Palisade.

It's Taylor Swift's world — we're just living in it. That was true before today, which saw the release of The Tortured Poets Department. But it's especially true given that you'll now be able to listen to all the Taylor Swift you want, for free, for the next few weeks.

Sirius XM earlier announced that the previously open Channel 13 has been transformed to Channel 13 (Taylor's Version). That is, all Taylor Swift, all the time. All you needed was a SiriusXM account. But even that minor bit of gatekeeping has been lifted a good bit. If you have a car that has the hardware for SiriusXM — and SXM believes that 50% of all cars on the road are so equipped — Channel 13 (Taylor's Version) will be available for free, through May 6.
