With an estimated EPA-of 46 MPG on the highway and a range of 700 highway miles, the Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel could fuel a lot more interest in diesel cars in the U.S.

The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze diesel could take the fight to Volkswagen in the mainstream diesel car segment.

The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze will be redesigned inside and out, and should appear in the fall of 2014.
