RFID Technology to Boost Company Efficiency

nongshim-data-systemsNongshim Data System’s (NDS) innovative automatic clothes count system showed positive signs at the active RFID/USN exports next year at RFID/USN Korea 2009. The debut of this device is significant to large scale clothing malls where many different colored clothes are placed in a huge box to be delivered to the mall.

The NDS Automatic Clothes Count System scans color, size, quantity, and model ID in all of two seconds at 100% accuracy. With the use of this technology, companies no longer have to open the box and spend long and tedious hours counting and sorting out products and making sure the order is accurate. Through the use of an antenna, it scans every product’s tag inside the box so it can sort out which products there are, and the number of each product, within 2 seconds. By a few simple clicks, the system can create its own invoice list and can make the sort out orders much more convenient and efficient. Visitors evaluated that this system is ideal to the large scale clothing companies.

Since Nongshim is the leading food company in Korea, the development of RFID/USN will play an essential role to strengthen the company’s credibility. “By placing the tag in the red pepper powder container, any possible variables to change the ingredients’ originality will be prevented,” said Hwang Jun-yong of Nongshim Data System. NDS’ application of RFID/USN suggests the improvement of its user’s quality of life with the promotion of its efficiency and high security.
