On Monday, Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense was struck by tragedy when the majority of its squad was killed in a plane crash while travelling to the finals of the 2016 Copa Sudamericana. Since then, the global footballing community has reached out in solidarity with the club, and now Electronic Arts (EA) has offered its own tribute.

Upon signing into Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 17, players will be given access to the Chapecoense kit and crest, according to a report from Eurogamer. Typically, players would have to earn items like these through random drops or an online auction system.

“Wear this kit and crest in support of the friends, family, and fans of Chapecoense,” reads a statement from the development team that greets players as they sign into Ultimate Team. The message ends with the phrase “Força Chape,” which has been used extensively over the past couple of days to express support for the club.

Over the past few years, Chapecoense has managed to earn a place in the premier division of Brazilian soccer, and 2016 marked the first time that the club was set to compete in the finals of the Copa Sudamericana. Given the crushing halt to the team’s hard-earned momentum, efforts are being mobilized across the world of soccer in an attempt to offer some aid in this trying time.

Atlético Nacional of Colombia, the club that was set to face Chapecoense in the Copa Sudamericana finals, have requested that their opponents be named as the winners of the tournaments. Various Brazilian clubs have reportedly offered to loan out players for free as efforts to rebuild the squad get underway.

FIFA 17 players looking to show solidarity with Chapecoense will be able to find the kit and crest in the new items section of the Ultimate Team game mode.

Earlier today, EA officially opened up registrations for the FIFA 20 Global Series, with many individuals registering to participate in the upcoming competition. As per usual with registering for anything, personal information was required to sign up. Unfortunately, while filling out a registration form, several players saw personal information, including usernames and dates of birth that were not theirs.

Of the many FIFA competitors affected by the breach are Kurt Fenech and George Hughs, both of whom took to social media to share their stories of how they were asked to confirm personal details that were not their own.

This year, EA chose not to hold a traditional press conference, and instead held its EA Play event on June 8-9, just ahead of the E3 2019 festivities. In lieu of the press conference, the publisher featured interviews and gameplay demonstrations focused on six of the company's games. There weren't any big surprises, but we did get plenty of new information. Here's all the big news.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Official Gameplay Demo – EA PLAY 2019

Respawn Entertainment showed off 15 minutes of gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the beginning of EA Play 2019. Set on the Wookie planet Kashyyyk, the mission we saw had protagonist Cal on a mission to liberate the area from the grips of the Empire. Early in the gameplay demonstration, we saw the traversal tools he will use, which include wall-running and grappling like in Uncharted or Tomb Raider. We were also surprised to see Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera make a return to assist Cal in his mission.

Is Manor Lords multiplayer or co-op?
A medieval market in Manor Lords.

You can easily lose hours designing your village and appeasing your citizens in Manor Lords all by yourself. There are so many different avenues to achieve victory, but the only competition or help you can normally find is in the form of NPCs. Other factions around the map can be helpful or harmful depending on how you play, but what if you wanted to team up with a friend to combine resources, or perhaps compete to see who can crush the other first? Many strategy and city builders thrive on multiplayer components, but does Manor Lords offer those same modes? Make sure you know the answer before making your purchase if that's your intention.
Is there multiplayer or co-op in Manor Lords?
To cut to the chase, the answer is no. Manor Lords is a purely single-player experience through and through. There are no cooperative or competitive modes in the game at all, so there's no way to interact with anyone else either on PC or console. This game was just released out of early access, and there is plenty of content on the way, however, we regret to inform you that multiplayer is not in the plans for the time being.

One developer took to the Steam forums to release an FAQ on the game. One question specifically asked if there is any multiplayer or cooperative gameplay in the game. The response said that "he focus is on a refined single-player experience, with no multiplayer or cooperative modes planned at the moment."
