GDC 2012: Planetside 2 screenshots

Sony is revamping and revisioning the universe of Planetside, which originally came out back in 2003. The new Planetside 2 immerses players in an online multiplayer first-person experience that will be free to play.

The game pits players against each other in a planet-wide war between three different factions: the Terran Republic, a high-tech military force with familiar tanks and guns that shoot bullets, the New Conglomerate —  a scavenger army that patches together equipment and weapons with anything they can find — and finally, the Vanu Sovereignty, which utilize  energy-based weapons from plundered alien tech.

We were able to get a hands-on look at Sony’s Planetside 2 during GDC 2012, for a more in-depth look at the game check it out here.

At the moment there is no release date but you can expect to see the MMOFPS on PC.

A PSVR2 headset on a sky-blue background.

The hype around PSVR 2 has largely died off just a year after its launch, though there's no denying it’s a cool piece of tech. Making big strides from the original PSVR, the latest headset from Sony offers better graphics, improved tracking capabilities, and introduced the world to the sleek new Sense controllers, which make it easier than ever to interact with your virtual world.

But, like all new pieces of tech, PSVR 2 isn't without its issues. From faulty Sense controllers to blurry images, here's a look at the most common PSVR 2 issues and how to fix them. Many of these steps will also work with PSVR, though note the menu navigation might be slightly different.

How to fix ‘servers at capacity’ error in Helldivers 2
A Helldivers 2 player fires a laser canon.

Helldivers 2 is a ton of fun to play, but the game isn’t without its small list of issues. One of these maladies is an error code that reads “servers at capacity.” If you’ve ever seen this pop-up window, you’ll know just how frustrating it can be to get around. But as far as fixes go, there's not much one can do when it comes to getting around this roadblock.
Can you fix the servers at capacity error?

Unfortunately, this is one error in Helldivers 2 that you have no power over. This issue falls on the game being just too popular for the game's servers to keep up with. A statement posted by developer Arrowhead in its official Discord said: "Our team is working around the clock to solve these issues. While we've been able to mitigate some of the causes, we are still struggling to keep up with the scaling that is needed to accommodate all our Helldivers. Therefore, we’ve had to cap our concurrent players to around 450,000 to further improve server stability. We will continue to work with our partners to get the ceiling raised.”

I spent 100+ hours in Hades. Here are my impressions of Hades 2
Melinoe being shot at by a witch.

The worst thing Hades 2 could do is ruin Hades.

The original Hades, a critically acclaimed action game by Supergiant Games, is one of the best games of all time, and it would be a shame for the highly replayable roguelike to be surpassed by a sequel that is just Hades, but more. Thankfully, it doesn't look like Hades 2 will fall into that trap.
