Microsoft to Provide High-Def E3 Coverage

With the E3 Expo just around the corner and hype starting to build, Microsoft has tapped the early excitement for the event by announcing that it will broadcast high-def E3 coverage to Xbox 360 owners via Xbox Live. “E3: Bringing It Home” will offer video updates, game trailers, themes, gamer pictures, and even demos. The list of games Microsoft will cover includes:

  • "Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation" (NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.)
  • "Assassin’s Creed" (Ubisoft)
  • "BioShock" (2K)
  • "Blue Dragon" (Microsoft Game Studios)
  • "Burnout Paradise" (Electronic Arts Inc.)
  • "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" (Activision)
  • "FIFA Soccer 08" (Electronic Arts)
  • "Guitar Hero III" (Activision/RedOctane)
  • "Lost Odyssey" (Microsoft Game Studios)
  • "Madden NFL 08" (Electronic Arts)
  • "NCAA Football 08" (Electronic Arts)
  • "Need for Speed: ProStreet" (Electronic Arts)
  • "Project Gotham Racing 4" (Microsoft Game Studios)
  • "The Simpsons Game" (Electronic Arts)
  • "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08" (Electronic Arts)
  • "WWE SmackDown® vs. Raw 2008" (THQ)

You’ll have to tune elsewhere for titles that aren’t going to show up on a Microsoft system at some point, though. And PC gamers – you’re out of luck. The best you can do is check Microsoft’s Xbox Live calendar to see what your console brethren are watching… or check one of the thousands of other Web sites that will offer E3 coverage.
