Shaq raps to Pharrell for a spot on the NBA 2K15 soundtrack

Shaquille O’Neal wants to be on the NBA 2K15 soundtrack. In order to show soundtrack curator Pharrell Williams that he’s still got it, Shaq drops his own beat and spits a few rhymes in this video:

Shaq is already on track to revive his early 90s heyday with the upcoming Shaq Fu reboot, so a return to his rap career seems like a natural next step. For a refresher in what skillz Shaq Daddy (aka Diesel, aka Big Aristotle, aka Cake) might have to offer the soundtrack, here’s the first single from his platinum debut album, Diesel:

NBA 2K15 comes to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on October 7, 2014.
