Apple just unveiled the new iPhone 4S, it’s newest addition to the most-popular smartphone line in the US. While demand for the device sits at an all-time high, Apple faces stiff competition from a growing array of high-end Android handsets. The iPhone 4S won’t be available until October 14, when it ships in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and Japan. An additional 22 international markets will receive the device on October 28. *For this comparison, we pitted the iPhone 4S against AT&T version of the Galaxy S II. T-Mobile and Sprint versions have a few different specs, but are more or less the same phone inside. The same model of the iPhone 4S is available on AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint

Galaxys battery is great i get 2days out of it no worries at all with moderate use.
I doubt it will. They promoted the same with the MacBook pro battery, which didn’t hold up to their specs.
Early iPhone 4S benchmarks show that the iPhone 4S is faster in browsing, CPU and GPU performance than any other mobile phone on the planet. People forget that the OS has a big influence on how fast the phone is.
Ohh and there is only half the amount of ram in the 4S! You can keep adding stuff like that without increasing the weight and the thicknes!
The Galaxy S2 has a 1.2GHZ dual core processor 4S only 1GHZ I dont know how they conveniently forgot to mention that! Galaxy S2 is sooo much better and Icecream Sandwtch is releasing end of this month!
Honestly and fairly speaking…is the Android operating system up to the challenge? The big question is the Microsoft “8″ the mobile OS that is the closest to the iOS 4 and soon to be iOS 5 in user friendliness? Any company can make a screen a little larger, stick a bit more RAM in their device; but the user experience is still where Apple is ahead, by quite a bit.
At least Samsung made their screen larger, so its not a complete knock off of the Apple iPhone! The biggest difference is the quality of the iOS operating system; and the iOS 5 is going to put the Android system even farther behind. The big question will be if Microsoft’s new “8″ will be closer to the iPhone experience.
Are we saying that Apple have failed to top trump Samsung? have they just matched what Samsung have already done? or is the new operating system from Apple way ahead of the android? also is the Siri system going to be untouchable and light years ahead of the rest?
@Greg… I beens ayin that for years too… nobody seems to care. I guess they like the Fischer Price feel to Sammy’s phones. I’ll stick with HTC and their highest bidder builds.
You drop your iphone and il drop my galaxy s2 and see which screen isn’t broken.

Samsung: Veni, vidi, vici :)
Samsung Phones are garbage, horrid batteries and cheap plastic.
