It seems like every other CES 2017 announcement involves a new gaming system or accessory. If anyone ever thought that PC gaming was dead and that only mobile devices and consoles matter, this year’s selection of new PC gaming products should put those fears to rest.

The latest company to announce their upcoming gaming systems is CyberPower, which along with its Syber Gaming division is introducing a number of new and updated gaming PCs.

Syber XL-Series

First up is the Syber XL Series, which looks to focus on making sure that whether you choose a seventh-generation Intel Core, Intel Broadwell-E, or AMD Ryzen CPU, large cases with superior airflow will keep them cool. In addition to improved thermal management, the systems’ cases will support up to four GPUs, eight drives, and elaborate liquid cooling systems in customized systems that are checked by the company’s SyberLab technicians to make sure they’re correctly built and tested. The Syber XL Series machines will be shipping in the second quarter of 2017, and pricing will start at $999.

CyberPowerPC Hyper Cooling Series

Next is the CyberPowerPC Hyper Cooling Series PCs, which will be custom desktop gaming machines with hard tube liquid cooling systems offering users a choice in coolant colors and lighting. The new liquid cooling systems will offer a 14 percent improvement over Corsair H55 coolers on overclocked CPUs, and a 27 percent improvement over standard GPU coolers.

CyberPowerPC will offer five models in the Hyper Liquid line, with a choice between AMD Ryzen of seventh-generation Intel Core processors. Pricing will start at $1,549 for Hyper Liquid Core systems and will top out at the Black Mamba configuration at $6,589.

CyberPowerPC’s Pro Streamer line will get a refresh at CES 2017. Currently part of the company’s Creator line of products, then updated systems will receive seventh-generation Intel Core processors and Intel Z270 chipsets. The Pro Streamer 1100 will start at $2,365 with a Core i5 processor.

The new Vector II-Z Series notebooks with Core i7-7700HQ, GeForce GTX 1060 and 1070 GPUs, up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB PCIe SSD, will start at $1,100. The machines will be available with 15-inch and 17-inch Full HD displays, backlit keyboards, and an array of connectivity options.

An Intel Meteor Lake processor socketed in a motherboard.

Intel has a lot riding on its next-gen Battlemage graphics architecture, and a very early benchmark shows some promising signs for performance. An Intel Lunar Lake CPU packing a low-power integrated Battlemage GPU was reportedly spotted in the SiSoftware benchmark database. It boasts not only higher performance than Intel's Meteor Lake chips, but also much better efficiency.

User @miktdt on X (formerly Twitter) spotted the result, which appears to come from an early qualification sample of the HP Spectre x360 14. The benchmark picked up that the laptop was using a Lunar Lake CPU, which is said to come with the Xe2-LPG architecture, a lower-power version of Battlemage.
