This story is part of Digital Trends' Cyber Monday coverage 2025

OK, this has to be one of our favorite deals for smartphones this Cyber Monday (obviously after Black Friday deals). The 256 GB Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 256 GB Note 10 Plus are both $400 off from Best Buy right now. There are also quite a few iPhone deals as well if you’re more about that iOS, but many of them are ending tonight.

These two gorgeous devices represent two of the best phones you can get in 2019. With a triple-camera setup in the Note 10 and a quadruple in the case of the Note 10 Plus, including its ToF sensor, Samsung’s strong photography prowess shows through. They’re certain contenders for best camera phone of 2019. Both of which sport a telephoto, regular, and wide-angle lens for great versatility and quality in your shots.

Of course, they’re more than just great camera phones. With some of the best internals you can get in an Android phone, the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus are quick with multitasking, fluid with gaming, and achieve daylong battery life. They’re replete with power and storage, starting at 256 GB internal memory, 8 GB of RAM in the Note 10 and 12 GB RAM in the Note 10 Plus, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processors. Not to mention that they have some of the most gorgeous screens we’ve laid eyes on. The super-thing bezels, and all-screen design will have you lost in the infinity pool that is the screen.

Lest we forget the S Pen, which not only adds the feature of its namesake — the ability to create handwritten notes on your phone — but also now transcribes them for you and can send them off to Microsoft Word documents if you’d like. All of this is in addition to the new gestures and functions added to control music playback, the camera, and even a PowerPoint presentation, all with your S Pen.

The Samsung Cyber Monday sale is spread across more than just smartphones. We’ve already found big discounts on Samsung monitors, 4K TVs, and Samsung Galaxy Active 2 smartwatches. Considering it’s not even Monday yet, be sure to keep an eye out for more deals as they go live.

Indeed, if you’re seeking to win Black Friday, look no further than Samsung’s latest deals. But, if you must look further, check out our constantly updated deals posts and definitely consult our guide on how to not just win, but demolish Black Friday and Cyber Monday. There are a lot of different smartphone deals going on right now, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with the best ones as they arrive for Cyber Week.

The best free VPNs for 2026
The best free VPNs still come with compromises, but a few offer enough privacy and flexibility to be genuinely useful.
Proton VPN UI

A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through a server run by the VPN provider. Websites see the VPN server’s IP address instead of yours, and you can get around geo-blocks, censorship, and ISP throttling. The best VPN services are paid, but there are still a handful of free options that do the job well.

Most free VPNs come with a hidden cost, because running servers isn’t cheap and a company that doesn’t charge you has to make its money somewhere else. Many do so by logging your browsing activity and selling it to advertisers, while others flood you with ads and track you across apps.

The best note-taking apps for iOS and Android
I tested these apps for months so your notes never have to switch homes again.
iPhone showing note-taking apps

Choosing a note-taking app is not easy. What note-taking app you choose depends on your needs, the platform you use, and of course, the cost. The process becomes even more complicated as it seems that there’s a new shiny app released every other week.

That’s why I always suggest choosing a note-taking app that has all the features you need and can last you for a long time. Also, don’t chase new apps. The real power of a note-taking app comes when all your notes live in one place, making it easy to spot connections between them.

WhatsApp app store listing open on iPhone

There's no shortage of messaging apps out there. The past decade has given us more options than we know what to do with, largely because smartphones demanded something better than plain old SMS.

Both the App Store and the Play Store are packed with apps that promise to revolutionize the way we communicate. Most of them didn't make it. The truth is, a messaging app is only as good as the number of people using it, and most apps never cross that threshold.
