There is a main division with Dyson vacuums: Cordless versus corded. At the higher end of the cordless options, look for deals on the Dyson V11 Torque Drive, the Dyson V11 Outsize, the Dyson V8 Absolute, and the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute. These are all heavy-duty vacuums, with motors featuring V8 power and charging times as long as 3.5 hours.
Looking past cordless options, you should keep an eye open for the Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2, which is a little cheaper and a little heavier but features a washable filter so you don’t need to purchase replacements. Last year’s Prime Day Dyson sales really ran the gamut. In the cordless area, we saw the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute discounted by $150, down to just $400. Of course, that’s still pricey for a vacuum, but Dyson is better known for the build of its products, and those products’ efficacy, than for its affordability. This is a top-tier cordless model with fantastic battery power. And then there was an even bigger discount ($200) on the Dyson V11 Torque Drive vacuum. Unfortunately, the starting price was also formidable with this model: $600. That said, this vacuum is often named among the very best overall vacuums in its class, and it’s one we love.
Outside the cordless category, we saw the Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum reduced by $50 and on sale for $350. This isn’t an amazing discount, but there’s the washable filter feature, which means you’ll save more money by not having to replace parts.
