The Game Awards is home to many new game announcements and release date reveals every single year. At last year’s show, we received release dates and windows for games like Tunic and Babylon’s Fall. Throughout 2022, we’ve already gotten release dates for big games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the remakes of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4, and Dead Island 2, but there are still more release dates that needed to be revealed. That’s where The Game Awards 2022 came in.

While the first few months of 2023 were already packed with new game releases like Forspoken, Atomic Heart, and Skull & Bones, the Game Awards 2022 added many more titles to the list, some of which are coming much sooner than expected. Here are all of the release windows that were announced for upcoming games at The Game Awards 2022:

Nvidia’s RTX 50 GPUs are about to cost nearly double what you paid at launch
Reported price hikes across Nvidia's RTX 50-series GPUs show some cards nearly doubling in cost since launch, driven largely by AI data center demand.

I remember when a $999 GPU felt like the "expensive but justifiable" tier, something buyers saved months for before building their dream gaming PC. Nvidia's about to make that price feel affordable.

Back in January, reports surfaced that AMD and Nvidia had warned board partners about incoming price increases.

AMD has launched the Radeon RX 9050, an entry-level RDNA 4 graphics card built for 1080p gaming. The retail version comes with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and reportedly starts at $279, although its release is limited to Asia-Pacific, Japan, and Latin America.

The card has 16 compute units, 1,024 stream processors, and a 92W board power. AMD claims 96 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 and 131 fps in Forza Horizon 6 at 1080p medium. However, the launch also includes a less appealing 4GB version for prebuilt gaming PCs.

Your GTA 6 ‘physical copy’ could expire before you even play it

The debate around GTA 6's "physical" edition just got another twist. Rockstar has confirmed on its official website that PS5 download codes included with physical copies of Grand Theft Auto VI sold in Japan will expire 170 days after the game's November 19, 2026 launch date. That means players who don't redeem the code before roughly May 8, 2027 could be left with nothing more than an empty game box, even though they purchased a physical copy. The company says the policy is required due to regional regulations in Japan.

Why only Japan?
