If you thirst for adventure but, like, don’t want to take it too seriously, man, and you don’t have an iPad or iPhone, Steam has you covered. Superbrothers and Capybara Games’ laid back pixel fantasy Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP is coming to Steam.

Marlarmin.com hosts a parser that makes Valve’s “Content Description Record” for Steam readable without using an actual Steam client running. The record is updated on a daily basis. A registration for aSword & Sorcery pre-order popped up in the record’s Thursday update, as noted by Indie Gaming Mag.

This is good news for PC users frustrated that the award-winning adventure game was only available on Apple’s portables. The question now is how the game will different once it makes the jump from a purely touch screen interface. It likely won’t be that different from the original, replacing taps with mouse clicks.

Digital Trends reached out to both Superbrothers and Jim Guthrie, the composer responsible for the game’s supremely slick sountrack, inquiring as to whether or not the Steam edition would include new content. As of this writing neither have responded.

Fortnite is giving iOS players more control and iPad Pro users more frames
Fortnite Chapter 2

Fortnite has dominated the gaming sphere by blending the line between traditional and mobile gaming. The latest update for Fortnite on iOS continues to do that with more support for now-standard controller inputs and a higher framerate cap, as spotted by 9to5Mac.

While Fortnite already supported Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers on iOS, it hadn't supported the inputs for thumbstick button presses. That changes with version 11.40 per Fortnite's change log. It will give players on iPhones and iPads more control parity with consoles, and let them more easily switch between playing on the different platforms.
