Win a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition!

We meet again, possible contest winners. Over the last few weeks, we have been giving away games for various systems, and we have no intention of stopping. We’re mad with the giving spirit! MAD! Next week, we may give away all the furniture in the CEOs office! (Just kidding, please don’t fire us.)

Thus far we have given away Nintendo 3DS and PS3 games, so it’s time to look at the Xbox 360. And what game better defines the Xbox than Halo?

Last November, Microsoft celebrated the 10th anniversary of the release of Halo: Combat Evolved for the original Xbox by remastering the game and re-releasing it. The Anniversary Edition featured the original game with shiny new HD graphics (in 3D as well), online co-op play, and a whole bunch of new multiplayer options. It was once of the best games on the original Xbox, and the Anniversary Edition reminded us all why. You can read our full review here.

So here’s how you can enter for a chance to win: simply post as a comment below and let us knowwho your favorite developer/publisher is and why. Last week we asked what games you would like us to cover more, and this week we want to know who your favorite developer/publishers are for the same reason. Let us know what developers/publisher you want us to feature more often, and we will.

So that’s it. Post a comment below for a chance to win a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition for the Xbox 360. Contest ends on Friday. This contest is not limited to the US, but while the game should be region free, we cannot guarantee it.

Good luck to all!

If you would like to be in the know on the next game giveaways be sure to keep an eye on the DT gaming section, “like” DT on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or subscribe to our writers’ (just hit the subscribe button next to their name in the byline).

{Congratulations to our winner, “NYCBGALL021”!  Keep checking back for more contests, we have plenty more to give away}

Nintendo Switch 2: release date rumors, features we want, and more
Prime Day Nintendo Switch Deals

Rumors of a Nintendo Switch 2 (or Switch Pro) have been circulating for years. Whispers of the next-gen Nintendo console first started when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was initially teased in 2019, gained steam when the Switch OLED launched in 2021, and are increasing now that the standard Switch has been out for six years.

There's no doubt that the Nintendo Switch is a fantastic console -- it has a unique and impressive game library (with more upcoming games slated for this year), the number of features included with Nintendo Switch Online is constantly improving, and it's still our favorite portable console -- but it isn't without its flaws. There's enough room for improvement to warrant an entirely new console in the near future. Nintendo recently announced that we wouldn't see a Switch upgrade in the next fiscal year, meaning the absolute earliest we get a look at a new Nintendo console would be in late 2024.
