Biff Tannen answers your burning Back To The Future questions

Imagine that you’re a minor celebrity, who landed an acting gig in a series of intensely beloved films. You may very well spend the rest of your life hounded by fans of your biggest role. That’s a weird sort of celebrity limbo to find yourself in, and at least in the case of Tom Wilson, it seems to be quite tiring.

Wilson portrayed bully Biff Tannen (and his various family members) in Robert Zemeckis’ Back To The Future film series. The films, which starred Michael J. Fox as a teenager sent traveling through time to right problems with his family’s past and future was a massive success, and managed to both make Fox a huge star and single-handedly turn the DeLorean into the car that every child of the 1980s wanted to own.

As a result of the series’ success, Wilson is often approached by fans who all seemingly want to know the same things. Did you like working with Michael J. Fox? Is Crispin Glover really as bizarre as he seems? Instead of repeating the same answers ad nauseam, Wilson has put together a post card that he now hands out to people. Thanks to Twitter user Shaun Usher, we have a copy of said postcard, and for fans of the film it’s an awesome piece of latter-day memorabilia.

You can find an image of the card below, but before you scroll down, we would like to highlight a few interesting facts gleaned from this document. For instance, the repeating gag centering on Biff Tannen’s use of the phrase “Make like a tree and get out of here?” Wilson ad-libbed that on set. Likewise interesting, it seems that Wilson is a stand-up comedian. That’s his primary focus now and he’s seemingly somewhat successful at it.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on how much of his act involves being covered in manure.
