Ever since we set foot in the world of Teyvat, Genshin Impact has become one of the best free-to-play games we’ve ever experienced. Mixing an anime-inspired art style with the exploration of Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, plus a huge roster of appealing characters, this massive game’s popularity hasn’t died down since its release. Even after Zenless Zone Zero came out, we’re still hooked on Genshin.

While it isn’t a multiplayer game in the traditional sense like Fallout 76 is, there are ways to connect with others. Plus, being on mobile, PC, and PlayStation (with Xbox soon to come), it would be the perfect choice for a cross-platform game. With mobile games like this, you never know if you’re locked down on whatever platform you started on. Here’s all the cross-platform information for Genshin Impact.

Yes, Genshin Impact has full cross-platform support for PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile similar to Minecraft. With your handy HoYoverse account, you can log in to your existing account on any platform and continue your adventure right where you left off. All your unlocked characters, currencies, and progress will be preserved.

In terms of multiplayer, Genshin Impact is also fully crossplay enabled. Once you’ve unlocked the ability to play with others, you can do so regardless of where they are playing. Crossplay is on by default, so there’s no need to dig through any menus to get it working.

For years, Call of Duty’s campaign mode has used big, scripted set pieces to tell the overarching story amid all the adrenaline-pumping action. The 2023 Modern Warfare 3 tried to shake up the established formula by introducing a handful of short open combat missions, and I genuinely liked the idea, but the game's overall negative reception seeped into how those missions were received.

I feared the next iteration might abandon the idea because of the backlash, but I am glad it didn't. MW4’s “Stranded” mission uses the same approach, but instead of fragmenting it across the campaign, it puts it all in a single large-scale open-world mission.

Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 finally has a US release date and price, several months after the company first showed off the handheld in May. The highlight is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip inside, which has been adopted by only a couple of other consoles besides the Atlas 8. This version will go on sale exclusively at Best Buy on November 1 for $1,299.99.

Acer originally said the Atlas 8 would arrive in North America in October, but left pricing open at the time. The launch came amid the ongoing DRAM crunch, which has made memory more expensive across the PC industry and complicated pricing for hardware makers.
