Xbox Serializes Lara Croft

If you’re an Xbox owner and chafing to get your hands on Tomb Raider Anniversary, you’re going to be able to buy it in a different way.   Sci Entertainment, the company that markets the adventures of Lara Croft, the goddess of gaming, is going to make the new one available to you in a serialized download.   It marks the first instance where Microsoft has made an entire game available for purchase through Xbox Live, and one of the first major titles to be serialized.   Of course, there’s a sound business reason behind the decision. If Sci doesn’t have to market through bricks-and-mortar retailing, they don’t need to invest in packaging, which can substantially increase their profits – the company means it could lead to a 20% rise.   Additionally, by 2010 the market for downloaded games is expected to reach around $289 million with the games-on-demand market topping $100 million.   Tomb Raider is one of the most successful game franchises, having sold over 32 million titles. The new title, Tomb Raider Anniversary, is already available for Sony Playstation and PC, and has topped the sales charts. It’s a recreation of the original Tomb Raider game.   But Xbox users will have to wait until September, when the first episode of the title will be available for download. As a consolation for the delay, however, SCi is promising enhanced graphics and game play. The second part will follow later.   “Different people want games in different ways and some people may want games to be more like TV shows,” said Rob Murphy, SCi’s finance director.

GTA 5 cheats: codes and phone numbers PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC
The main characters of Grand Theft Auto V stand side-by-side.

A slam-dunk of a game for the talented developers at Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto V has been out for several years now, but it’s still an extremely popular title. We’re also guessing there’s some renewed interest in the game because the world knows we’re getting a Grand Theft Auto VI in the somewhat-near future. If you’ve ever played a GTA game, you’ll know the going can get a little tough from time to time. This is why it’s nice to live in a world with cheat codes.

Whether you just want to have a ton of fun with unlimited health and ammunition, or you’re seriously struggling with a certain section of the game, we’ve rounded up all the cheat codes you’ll need to know for GTA V, for platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC.
How to use GTA 5 cheats
There are a few ways to enter GTA 5 cheat codes. The first and easiest is to use your cellphone. You can open your cellphone by pressing Up on the D-pad. From there, enter the corresponding number, and the cheat will fire. You can also classically input cheats by following a specific button combination. The combinations are the same across PlayStation and Xbox, but we've split them up to account for their different button-naming conventions, so it should feel more natural reading and entering them.

All cross-platform games (PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)
Two squads of heroes clash in an Overwatch 2 trailer.

Cross-platform support is becoming more important in the world of video games. Multiplayer hits like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Fortnite have pushed crossplay into the limelight, and now most AAA multiplayer games release with at least partial cross-platform support. Finding every cross-platform game is no easy feat, though, so we did the hard work to bring you a comprehensive list of games that support crossplay.

Unfortunately, there aren't any rules when it comes to crossplay, so each game handles the feature a little differently. To make matters more confusing, certain backward-compatible games on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X still support crossplay on the most recent hardware, even if there isn't an official release for that hardware.

The best external hard drives for Xbox Series X
xbox all access price pre orders retailers 2

The Xbox Series X's 1TB sounds excellent on paper, but in reality, Microsoft's console only offers about 802GBs of storage due to updates and the operating system. You may find yourself filling up your space quickly, especially if you're looking to download every new title that becomes available on Xbox Game Pass. Let's face it, Call of Duty alone takes well over 100GBs of storage — and with the system targeting 4K resolution, games are only growing in size.

The Xbox Series X is compatible with any external hard drive up to 16TB of storage. Games optimized for the Xbox Series X can only be stored on, but not played from, an external drive due to the games being designed to take advantage of faster loading speeds and Xbox Velocity Architecture. However, when it comes to storage for your Xbox Series X, there are many options to choose from as your game library expands. We have compiled a list of external drives that will make your gaming experience seamless. Note that they will come with the proper cables needed to connect to your Xbox console.
