Starting with a stock Phantom, Bespoke has added new individual rear seats, developed jointly with medical professionals, that strike the right balance between safety and comfort. The seat backs recline to 27 degrees, the calf rests rise up to 68 degrees and there are foot rests neatly integrated into the floor that can be adjusted to 30 degrees.
Special bins built into the door panels ensure that the rear passengers always have access to personal belongings, whether perfumes, credit cards, business cards, watches, jewelry, or plain old gold bullion. Men and women can order different bins designed with what each gender typically carries in mind. The women’s bins, for example, have a special compartment for holding makeup.
The interior has been further spruced up with Limelight-specific upholstery that pays homage to historically-significant Rolls models built over the past couple of decades, a two-veneer finish on the center console and on the door panels, and a new clock with a diamond motif. Outside, the Limelight Collection stands out from the standard Phantom thanks to nine-spoke alloy wheels and a discreet Gala Blue metallic paint job.
Engineers in Goodwood have not made any mechanical modifications, meaning the Limelight Collection is powered by an enormous naturally-aspirated 6.75-liter V12 engine that provides 453 horsepower at 5,350 rpm and 531 lb-ft. of torque at 3,500 rpm. Linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the 12-cylinder mill sends the 5,800-pound sedan from zero to 60 mph in less than six seconds.
On sale now, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Limelight Collection is limited to just 25 examples globally. Rolls has not revealed how much of a premium it carries over the standard Phantom but, honestly, if you have to ask, you’re probably not the kind of buyer that the company caters to.
