Telltale’s Game of Thrones episode 4 gets a release date and trailer

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series - Episode 4: 'Sons of Winter' Trailer
Telltale kicks off the second half of its Game of Throneseries next week with episode four, Sons of Winter, which just got a new trailer. Take note: here be spoilers!

It looks like Gared Tuttle got busted for his plan to strike off on his own and find the North Grove beyond the wall. Jon Snow is very disappointed in him, but Gared seems resolved to follow through and help his family, no matter the cost. Over in Essos, Asher’s run-in with Daenerys Targaryen at the end of episode three has turned into a job offer, as she has conscripted him to help infiltrate the slave city of Meereen so her men can arm the slaves and bring it down from the inside. Beshka seems to have some unpleasant associations with Meeren, though, so the mission might put a serious strain on her friendship with Asher.

Meanwhile King’s Landing is still reeling from the horrific poisoning of King Joffrey during his wedding. Mira wants to keep her head down and avoid attention, but nevertheless needs to still find a way to help her family. Back at home, Rodrik is still chafing under the oppressive rule of Griff Whitehill. An unexpected ally may provide a chance to change things, but can they do it without risking the life of young Ryon, who is still held hostage?

Sending Asher and Beshka with the party to infiltrate Meereen is the closest yet that Telltale’s series has come to directly involving its characters with events from the book. The Red and Purple Weddings were both featured, but only on the periphery. The show also differs from the book here, with Ser Jorah, Ser Barristan, and Strong Belwas leading the infiltration in the book while Jorah, Daario, and Grey Worm do so in the show (since Strong Belwas was tragically cut). Given the game’s use of actors from HBO’s adaptation, it seems likely that Telltale will stick with that version of the canon, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Telltale’s Game of Thrones episode 4: Sons of Winter will arrive on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Mac on Tuesday, May 26. Xbox 360 and One owners will have to wait a day until May 27, and then iOS and Android on May 28.

sony reveals customizable ps5 dualsense edge controller front and back

In a recent quote, Sony Senior Vice President Naomi Matsuoka said: "Looking ahead, PS5 will enter the latter stage of its life cycle." Many in the industry took that to mean that we may be hearing about the next PlayStation console sooner rather than later.

Considering Sony has yet to break its naming convention, it feels safe to assume whatever future home console we get will be called the PlayStation 6. But not only has the name not been officially confirmed, but neither has the idea of a next-generation PlayStation console or even a PS5 Pro. It's almost a guarantee, but technically nothing is set in stone. Rumors and potential leaks have already started stirring up excitement, so let's see what the future of PlayStation may look like according to the rumors.

Homeworld 3: release date window, trailer, pre-order, and more
A massive space fleet in formation.

The long, long wait for a new Homeworld title is finally coming to a close. This classic RTS series once stood toe-to-toe with the titans of the genre such as StarCraft and Command and Conquer, but aside from a more recent prequel, it hasn't been seen since the sequel in 2003.

At the same time, the entire RTS genre has fallen from the grace it once enjoyed, with almost none of the major names existing in that space anymore. However, we did get hints at a proper Homeworld sequel coming in the future after Gearbox purchased the rights and released the Homeworld Remastered Collection, a prequel game called Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, and even a tabletop version of the game. Here's everything we know so far about this RTS title.
