While her name might not be immediately recognizable, Yvonne Strahovski’s face certainly is, as the up-and-coming leading lady has already had starring roles in several TV series, including NBC’s Chuck and Showtime’s Dexter. And now, she’s scored another lead in Amazon’s upcoming pilot Edge, reports Variety.

Edge is classified as a western drama, and Strahovski will play a detective named Beth who joins the team in Seward, Kansas. But Beth has a mysterious secret she’s hiding.

Strahovski is no stranger to playing both mysterious characters and law enforcement, having played both a secret CIA agent in Chuck, and a girl-next-door with serial killer tendencies in the 7th and final 8th season of the popular show Dexter. She also notably had a major role in the 2014 resurrection season of 24, 24: Live Another Day, where she played CIA field operative Kate Morgan.

Max Martini (Saving Private Ryan) and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) will co-star alongside Strahovski in Edge: the former will play the title character, known as “Edge” (real name Josiah Hedges) and the latter his nemesis, a former Union army comrade who had an integral role in the killing of Edge’s younger brother. Alicja Bachleda (The Girl Is In Trouble) will also appear in a recurring role, as a pregnant woman being held hostage.

The show is based on books by George Gilman, and will be written and executive produced by Shane Black (Iron Man 3) and Fred Dekker. Black will also direct, and David Greenblatt and Barry Josephson will also serve as executive producers.

Strahovski is clearly a hot ticket in TV land these days, already starring in ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club. She’ll also be moving over to movies, with plans to in Oscar winner Adrien Brody’s Manhattan Nocturne, and opposite Blake Lively in All I See Is You. With an uncanny ability to captivate viewers with her performances, it’s no surprise that Strahovski has been courted by so many upcoming projects.

If you have to watch one Star Wars movie this May the 4th, stream this one
Luke looking off into the binary sunset before dying in The Last Jedi.

Every Star Wars fan has a favorite movie, and many Star Wars fans also hate at least one of the entries in one of their favorite franchises. That can make the exercise of choosing the perfect Star Wars movie to watch on May the 4th difficult. For all of the love this fan base has shown to the franchise over the years, it's also a fan base that has strong opinions about why one movie or another is worthy of your time.

This May 4, though, I'd recommend watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Almost undoubtedly the most controversial entry in the saga, one that makes some people furious and others jump for joy, The Last Jedi is worthy of your attention, whether you like what it's doing or not. Here are three reasons you should check it out:
