Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee stops by the White House to pick up President Obama

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 7 Premieres Dec. 30 @11:30 PM
It’s time for another season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee already, and the new promo, released Monday, shows that host Jerry Seinfeld’s impressive lineup of guest stars. Season seven will kick off with none other than President Barack Obama, with Seinfeld dropping by the White House.

Over the course of its six episodes, season seven will also feature Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Gary Shandling, Kathleen Madigan, and Sebastian Maniscalco, along with a host of interesting automobiles. Seinfeld and his guests will go cruising and stop for coffee, plus other spontaneous side trips. The promo shows Ferrell and Seinfeld playing at a park as well as an incident in which a car appears to have broken down.

To pick up the president, Seinfeld drove a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, according to Deadline. The episode was filmed at famous first house earlier in December, so it sounds like the comedian and the commander-in-chief may not have actually left 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. If that’s the case, it makes sense; taking the show on the road would presumably be a Secret Service nightmare.

While Seinfeld and his show are undeniably a draw, the fact that Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee features the likes of the POTUS is indicative of the fact that Crackle, the Sony-owned streamer that hosts the show, is getting bigger. (The service is also home to Dennis Quaid’s The Art of More, a scripted series renewed for its second season earlier this month.) As much as Obama has been hitting the TV circuit more frequently as his final term winds down, his appearances have typically been on major networks, such as HBO’s Vice prison special, which aired in September, and his recent episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls on NBC.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee season seven premieres on December 30, at 11:30 p.m.

How to watch the WWE Backlash France 2024 live stream
Logo for WWE Backlash France.

A WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) is heading to Lyon Metropolis for the first time for WWE Backlash France 2024. Since the formation of TKO in September 2023, WWE has prioritized global expansion. In 2024, Backlash France is the second PLE to be held outside the U.S., and it won't be the last. Five of the next six WWE PLEs will take place outside the U.S.

Heading into Backlash, WWE is entering the "American Nightmare Era." After finishing his story at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes is now the Undisputed WWE Champion. A different era means a new crop of challengers for Rhodes. First up is AJ Styles, a former two-time WWE champion. Rhodes must bring his A-game if he wants to walk out of France as champion.

If you have to watch one Star Wars movie this May the 4th, stream this one
Luke looking off into the binary sunset before dying in The Last Jedi.

Every Star Wars fan has a favorite movie, and many Star Wars fans also hate at least one of the entries in one of their favorite franchises. That can make the exercise of choosing the perfect Star Wars movie to watch on May the 4th difficult. For all of the love this fan base has shown to the franchise over the years, it's also a fan base that has strong opinions about why one movie or another is worthy of your time.

This May 4, though, I'd recommend watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Almost undoubtedly the most controversial entry in the saga, one that makes some people furious and others jump for joy, The Last Jedi is worthy of your attention, whether you like what it's doing or not. Here are three reasons you should check it out:
Luke gets to live the Jedi legend
