Infinity Blade

Following player backlash over the Infinity Blade weapon's inclusion in Fortnite's battle royale mode, Epic Games decided to remove the weapon from the game completely. It was not limited to a special mode, as had been the case for other extremely powerful weapons, such as Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet.

Epic Games has added the Infinity Blade melee weapon to Fortnite just as it pulled all three games in the Infinity Blade trilogy from sale. The games are still available to download if you bought them, but they will no longer be supported and do not offer any more microtransactions.

Epic Games won't be releasing Infinity Blade: Dungeons until some time next year.
