Fast Five punches Rio in the face with a new trailer

When it comes to the Fast and Furious franchise, you expect things to move quickly, and the explosions to be big and satisfying. You also need to give reality a bit of leeway. The films attack your eyeballs with insanity, and while generally not candidates for best adapted screenplay, they offer fun diversions.

The fifth movie in the franchise, Fast Five seems to take what worked with the previous films and forces steroids down its throat, then unleashes it in Rio De Janeiro. The film brings back cast members from each of the previous films, and adds Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just for good measure.

When a Brazilian businessman crosses Dom and the gang, they lay out a plan to get him back and get rich in the progress. Things are going to plan when a Federal Agent (Johnson) heads to Brazil to bring them in, and finds that he isn’t sure what side he should be on.

Check out the trailer below, and look for Fast Five to punch your brains in theaters on April 29.

This Halloween, the video game sensation, Five Nights at Freddy's, is getting its own horror movie, courtesy of Universal Pictures and Blumhouse. The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson is headlining the film as Mike Schmidt, the hapless security guard from the first game who takes a job at a long-defunct restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Think of it as Chuck E. Cheese, if the old animatronics were out to kill you after dark. Unfortunately for Mike, the first trailer for the film reveals that Freddy and his fiendish friends have an even deadlier agenda than he imagined.

The Fast & the Furious vs. Mission: Impossible: which one is better?

Action movie fans just got a treat with the release of the latest installment in the long-running Fast series, Fast X. The movie brings back all of everyone's favorite characters, from Vin Diesel's Dom to Charlize Theron's villainous Cipher, and adds new cast members Brie Larson as mysterious spy Tess and Jason Momoa as the film's principle villain, the Joker-like Dante.

If you've seen Fast X and are craving more high-octane action, don't fret.
