The company’s first product was the Eight Sleep Tracker, which is being used by 12,000 people across 67 countries. To date, it has tracked more than 1.8 million hours of sleep data, giving Eight a unique understanding of what makes good sleep. The new smart mattress can connect through a mobile app to smart devices such as your thermostat, lights, and coffee makers. It also features a number of sensors to track tossing and turning, breathing rate, sleep time, and sleep quality, as well as your bedroom environment including the bed and air temperature. All of this data is analyzed to create sleep patterns and suggestions for improving your sleep on the bed’s mobile app.
The bed is available in full, queen, and king sizes starting at $950, with free shipping to U.S. customers. The company is offering a 100-day trial period with free returns so prospective buyers can try the mattress for 100 days without commitment.
